30 Bananas a Day!

When i ate more salad and less fruit i was pretty alkaline (using pee sticks) and since i have been eating more fruit, in the last couple of days my body has rapidly become acidic.

Im not even eating acidic fruit.


should i up the greens and slow down the fruit...or just wait?

It would nice if some individuals with factual knowledge would voice their opinion. I think there is too much confusion around the pH scale. Are we are talking how alkaline the ash is when a food is burned, the pH in its natural state, or how it affects the body? And when we talk about our alkalinity are we talking about out urine or blood or digestive system? Our overall pH can NOT change or else we will die. I have also read that the pH or urine and saliva have too many factors besides just diet.(such as physical exercise, stress, environmental toxins, etc... I am no expert in the field, but it is clear no one else that has posted is either. HELP SORT OUR THE ALKALINITY MESS. please:)

Thank you for your replies. When i was lfrv before i was very alkaline, so i guess i just need to wait a bit. I do struggle to eat enough greens, i have to force myself to eat a salad everyday! i just want fruit fruit fruit!

Fruit is the most alkaline food on the planet, its not the fruit making you acidic if its ripe. Unripe fruit is not meant to be eaten. If you are dehydrated you will become acidic. If you have come from an acidic cooked food diet, you will be acidic as the fruit starts to push the gunk out. Ripe fruit never makes us acidic it does stir things up for elimination. I have been eating 97% of my calories from fruit for 4.5years and I'm alkaline. 


The teeth discussion is not appropriate here, fruit does not erode teeth, please do not post such blogs thanks :)

yes, definately. You should eat a lot of raw baby spinach. It's very alkaline. You can google acidic foods or alkaline foods and they have lists. good luck to you.
