I just started moving towards the HCRV lifestyle about 2 months ago. My energy improved as well as my digestion, but I'm pretty broke. I live with my parents and we have food stamp (<$400/month) so it's hard to have enough fruit around the house. I'm the only one in my family that eats the fruit, but sometimes when I'm short on fruit I always end up convincing myself to have cooked vegetables and rice even though they do not satisfy me at all. And after eating the cooked foods, I get bloated and dehydrated for the next few days. I know of the consequences, but how can I stop giving myself cooked veggies and rice? How can I make sure I am always carbed up with fruit? Has anyone else experienced this before?
