30 Bananas a Day!

i keep getting stomach aches and i'm tired

i am getting very strong stomach aches after i eat. Today i thought i might have caught food poisoning b/c i felt nauseous. it does not feel like over-eating. in fact, i can barely make it past 1500 calories lately b/c i am just not very hungry at all and with the stomach aches i don't want to FORCE myself to eat more. I know that i need to start eating more because I am starting to feel tired all of the time (probably from not enough carbs- although i am eating 8/1/1 ratio).

So my question is, is this all a part of detoxing? i am fairly new to doing more than 50% raw on a continual basis (my first week of really trying very hard at 8/1/1).

how can i get rid of the stomach aches so that i can get through eating enough calories without getting sick?

fatigue and fatigue of mind could be connecter(detoxing or do you go along some stress? hard time with your diet or what?)

thanks nik! well the second time i had it i definitelly had nothing in my stomache for several hours and it had the same effect. however when i had some in a fruit cup the other day (starving at the hospital - could have bought like 7lbs. of bananas for what the stupid thing cost) and i felt fine with the watermelon. it also had honeydew, cantaloupe, red grapes seedless. i dunno. i'm just going to be careful with it and perhaps try to test it out again sometime when i become brave enough.

yep, ate a room-temp watermelon (only like 1/16th of it) and had to stop bc my stomache and my body hurt. it felt like i had lactic acid building up in my arms and back and legs. it was horrible. i'm never eating ti again. not all melon, just the watermelon. also, i was hydrated (drank a liter before hand and let it digest) it was a mono meal and it was a breakfast.

it was room temp.
i did try blending bananas! amazing!
sometimes apples do give me a stomach ache. it waswatermelon that was doing it though.
i have done a few mono-meals. i'm trying to make as many as i can mono- fruit meals
i haven't tried eating those foods in great volume yet, so i guess i'll have to try. :)

That's great that the banana smoothies are helping!! I just like to eat melons for breakfast because even though later in the day your stomach might be empty the melons still travel much faster through your intestines as well - so they could either be trying to pass the food you ate for breakfast or getting held up because its still waiting on that stuff to more forward. Also watermelon have a diuretic effect so that maybe it as well. Glad you got it worked out though :D Banana smoothies are my favorite - its hard to start a day with anything other than them.

i ate it for lunch and then a semi-dinner meal. but both weer mono meals andmy stomach was definitely empty when i ate it. i have been eating banana smoothies with just water and ie adn it seams to help a LOT with me being able to consume more bananas. :)

I would just keep sticking with it. Changes like this aren't automatic and your body is probably adjusting. Keep trying to eat more and more and do the best you can. Also make sure your fruit is ripe. Did you eat the watermelon for breakfast?
