Sabrina, I am so proud of you for writing this post. Seeing how you were able to work through those tough thoughts, thoughts that we ALL have at one time or another I might add!, and come out on a positive note is very inspiring!! Keep it up, girl!!! I love you and am proud of you!!!

lol, well Via, you should of read on because I worked through my feelings. that was the point of the post. Sorry to be confusing. If you read it, you would see that it was be being blunt about feelings I WAS having, but challenged. The idea was that yes, even those my feelings were so shocking and negative, that even those can be worked through very quickly. I agree those thoughts are self destructive, thats why i had to address them so immeditately. :D

Anne, I have done CBT, was even in STEPPS for BPD and have been using cognitive therapy since I was instiutionalized at 8 year ago. I wouldn't have made it into recovery without it! I still have a lot of difficulty but things are much much much better than when I was younger. I used to be very sick. So, trying to keep that in mind. I maybe a little less mentally stable than many of you here on 30 bananas because you tend to be very positive balanced and aware people, which I love seeing! It inspires me, and shows that you can live differently than I was raised to.

I know all this emotional/mental stuff will be a little easier to deal with too, the longer im 811!

Hey Sabrina. Awesome blog entry! It's so important to identify and spell out the negative thoughts like that, and then you went to the next GREAT step, in countering these negative thoughts - with geniune positive and insightful statements. That's wonderful! Eventually you won't even remember what it was like, exactly - to think the negative thoughts or feel the way you have about yourself and life. I know you are going to heal on all levels - what you are doing here is equally as important as the diet itself. Yeah!

Hey don't worry about your teeth hurting after eating fruit. My teeth became very loose/painfull and my gums bleed alot in my first month of 811. Then they became better than before I started. You're on the right path so just keep believing in it and all will come good.
