Ok, after doing super well with LFRV, I had this intense craving for pasta that stayed for days. so I had some. iwth a cream sauce, cheese, etc. I also started drinking a 'light' powdered tea. for 2 days I went from 80% raw/100% vegan to 20% raw/SAD. Holy Cow (no pun intended) I feel like crap.
My sinus issues came back hte sensitivity of my left ear came back with the itching. my lips dehydrated, burned around the edges, I got a fever blister where my lip split, my gums itch, my skin got a weird pebbly texture, my right eye seems really dry, my skin on my face got sensitive, my teeth feel ewird/hot. and I am really fidgety wiht my feet.
Really goes to show how much LFRV had been helping me. I had not actually given much thought to how I was feeling better (as in this does not bother me, that does not bother me now) just that I felt great overall.
I will be so much more conscious of this now, adn I can't believe I lived feeling this was for so much of my life. I have a strong belief it was the wheat I ate. I want to go get checked for celiac disease, and have my b12 and d levels checked as well. I will also start journaling too.
It's amazing how such a simple thing as food can affect how you live (or don't live) your life!
I say this a lot, but maybe it's what i need to go through to really have it all drive home...Lesson Learned!!
On a great note however, my husband saw me suffer after changing my eating...he did not say a word to me when I asked him to get my dinner for me last night! he gladly brought me a bundle of fresh fruit. he did not realize I had been suffering so much before till I had this setback.
