30 Bananas a Day!

Getting myself motivated for 100% fully raw

So I have been doing the " raw till four" program for a while now. When I first came across raw foods I went fully raw for a week or two and felt GREAT. Then for some reason I went into this mode of cooked foods and was eating cooked foods for dinner almost every day. I feel not so good on this at all, I feel the cooked foods make me crave salt and fat often and keep me feeling weighed down. I am especially having trouble with lowering my fat intake, I used to love adding a whole avocado and nuts to all of my salads everyday and now i know this is not optimal and I am struggling with cutting the fats down, but I will do it :) So for the WHOLE month of September I will be going 100% raw. I really hate to restrict myself into a defined diet but I can be a very wishy-washy person and give things up fast and I want to improve this about myself. I will stick this out, for better physical health, mental clarity, energy and to improve my self determination. I do not think I am an ugly person or have self-image issues, but for too long I have I felt uncomfortable in my own skin. I want to wear whatever I want, when i want, I want to 100% love the skin I am in, inside and outside of my body. I know raw foods will help me achieve all of this. I am writing this out to remind myself why I am doing this. I plan to keep this blog everyday to help me stay motivated and hopefully get some good in-put and suggestions from experienced raw foodies. Wish me luck :)

Ya! Just remember, the food you consume makes your skin, and your cells! The food you are eating is beautiful, whole, and tasty, that's now your skin!!!!

Sometimes stress in our lives makes it harder to stay on track. So it can be good to see if that's the case with you and if so try and reduce it somehow.

Keep on doing it girl! You've been successful at it for two weeks. Remember your tastes buds change roughly every 10 days. Also brushing my teeth or drinking water helps me to reduce my cravings for cooked food. Good luck!
