I went there early in the morning to have as much choice as possible and I got loads of great stuff. 5kg of strawberries, 7kg of young potatoes, 5 large young zucchini, 2kg of carrots, plenty of greens and 2 super sweet watermelons. I also went to a normal shop where I got 5kg of bananas on sale for 1/2 the price and 5 packs of dates. Feast is coming :-)
My meals 14/06/2014 (approx. 2400cal - 90/6/4)
Water: 2l + 1l of camomile tea
Before going to the market: 2 bananas & 10 dates
Breakfast: 4 bananas + 500g strawberries smoothie
Snack: 1/2 of a watermelon
Lunch: the other half of watermelon (soo sweet!)
Snack: 15 dates
Dinner: cream soup made of 800g potatoes, 4 carrots, some celeriac and parsley roots with spices (allspice, bay leaf, black pepper, a pinch of sea salt) with some steamed green peas for added color... I wasn't able to eat it all, just had 2 bowls which is like half of what I cooked - the rest will be for tomorrow.
I have to say the soup was not as tasty as I've expected it to be... It was one of my favorite soups but now with practically no salt and no sour cream added it tastes weird and blant. I will force myself to eat it tomorrow as I am against wasting food but I think I won't make it again, definitely prefer the same veggies steamed or baked.
Exercise: 2x walking the dog + running around the market + 30min of walking with Leslie Sansone
The good thing is that I've noticed some small weight loss. The first week on rt4 I've lost 3kg just to gain them back the following week. I've weighed myself almost each day this week and the scale has showed 0.1-0.2kg loss. I hope it will stay that way as I really really really don't want to put on weight any more.... I'm already heavier than I was ever before.
