OKAY! So after feeling so great, and getting told by my family how amazing I suddenly look, I fell back a bit into a few of my old habits - eating animal products. Blegh.
------BUT!!!! sometimes setbacks are needed to just remind you where you've come from, :) and just so that you can realize the icky feeling you get from this old lifestyle of yours, and why you NEVER want to feel like that again! :) SO STAY POSITIVE! Setbacks aren't all that bad, they make you thankful for this wonderful journey that you are oh-so-privileged to be on right now! :) Just get back up, and get back on track, full steam ahead! On your way to health and happiness!! :)
The reason for my setback is the fact that I came home for the holidays, and it was my mom's birthday and of course dinner with friends and family. I decided to join in the festivities and that I would return to "my normal" lifestyle again this week (my normal meaning HCLF RawTill4 Vegan lifestyle)! So I'm eating normal again,
...but I'll be going on an outreach to Botswana with my church, from the 29th of June till the 11th of July, and we'll be living, eating and drinking with the people we'll be visiting and helping out at that time. I doubt that there'll be a lot of stores around with enough fruit and veggies for that whole time, and also, outreaches are a time for selfless living. For grace and giving. And not focusing on your own needs, but on the needs of others. So I'll be eating what they give me, I'm really not worried about that :).
Though, in my heart I just felt that after the outreach, I have to go HCLF RawTill4 Vegan till the end of the year (Basically 6 months). I'm very excited about this. So for now I'm pretty chill about it all, but excited to start my 6-month-adventure soon!
Yay! Happiness and peace!
