30 Bananas a Day!

Ensuring I stay carbed up throughout the day...

In order to stay on track eating 100% raw vegan, I need to make an effort to eat around 2500 cals. This cal recommendation makes a lot of sense to me now. Every time I fall back into eating cooked food it's probably because I haven't been eating sufficient fruit calories. I usually find it hard to get in a lot of calories on days that I am working. I will be trying the following things to get in more calories:

- Making datorade (either for the evenings when I am likely to crave cooked meals or to bring to work with me to sip straight before and after work)

- Bringing dates with me for lunch when at work, I figured as they are calorie dense I wouldn't even have to eat that many in order to curb my hunger.

- Blending watermelon and taking it with me in a large flask to work to sip every hour or so when I get a chance to pop in the staff room for a couple of minutes.

Any more tips or ideas on how I can get in more calories would be much welcomed :)

I focus on a huge breakfast.  I eat a 1000 calorie smoothie then I snack on dates and bananas all morning at work.  Then more dates and bananas for lunch and a snack.  I get almost all of my calories in before dinner, then I eat a big salad.  I am hitting about 3000 calories a day.  Mostly due to dates and bananas as staples.  Then I supplement with other stuff.
