30 Bananas a Day!

Dropped 8 pounds in 2 Weeks on Banana Island

I love banana island. I was at the doctor today and according to his scale I've dropped 8 pounds in 2 weeks on Banana Island.

I guess I eat about 90 percent fruit, mostly blended into smoothies but sometimes I get a hankering for a whole pineapple or half a watermelon. I eat a few raw almonds, some chia seeds, the occasional head of romaine lettuce, some kale or some carrots....

I'm never hungry. True, I don't eat 30 bananas a day. I just couldn't. But I do eat about 15 fruits per day. And I have to push myself to eat five fruits at a time sometimes. I know my body is getting enough fruit for me. In the future, as my body rejuvenates and I exercise more, I will probably eat even more fruit. For now this feels perfect.

My goal is to overcome Multiple Sclerosis with raw food. Let me know if you have success stories with overcoming MS or other Autoimmune disorders through raw food.

Thanks PK. I appreciate the suggestions and information about your relatives. I was 100 percent Raw and Organic for 6 months and really felt better... but that was the Wigmore plan and included daily enemas.... It was very hard to stay on it. Then for about 2 years I was 70 to 80 percent raw and mostly vegan.... then I just kind of fell of the wagon and started eating junk food for various reasons related to stress and income. The Raw plan I was trying to live up to in the past was far to rigerous and not tasty to do long term. This feels much better.

Long Term Health and Success

Eat a raw frugivorous diet where most carbohydrates and calories come from whole, raw, ripe, sweet, and juicy fruits like oranges, papaya, or mangoes, supplemented with about ½-2 heads of lettuce greens a day (like iceberg and romaine) and about a handful of raw nuts or seeds a day. Eat simple meals (like mono meals, or only use a few ingredients) but a rainbow of foods over a period of time.  

Eat enough on a daily basis with at least 2500 calories for females and at least 3000 calories for males.  Drink 2-4 quarts of water a day and pee clear. Get 8-12 hours of sleep as needed. Exercise about 30 minutes a day 5-6 days a week with at least one day off for rest and repairs.  Get about 30 minutes of sunshine a day on your skin for vitamin D, mental health, eye health, and healthy bones and teeth.

My sis in laws mom often controls her symptoms with raw foods.  My sis in law had markers for MS, but lost 70 pounds and ate a high raw diet and now appears to be a MS free miracle.  They are not vegan, but would say high raw/plant based.  

I cannot promise you a cure because I dont know how far along your disease is.  But you might be able to slow down, control, or reverse some of your symptoms.  

Getting off dairy products, grains, and gluten products helps many people.  

Eat high vitamin C rich fruits like oranges and may be one mono meal of oranges a day.  Lettuce greens too.  

I had chronic fatigue/fibromalgia symptoms that are much better now. They only flare up when I dont get enough sleep now.
