I hope your skin gets better.
Mine was really bad before 811. And improved just as I started this life.
Try to wash your skin with very clean water, spring water or even distilled water, it really clears it, but do not use any toxic shit what we can find in the shops. lol

I used to live in Byron and surrounds (4 years) and I really feel like going back there today. Not smiling on the inside! Argh...

More people around me would rather see me fail than succeed but it's now making me more determined than ever. I was recently described in a running magazine as a quiet competitor who shows up runs, wins and disappears and by another as an enigma. I can live with that. I'm slowly finding some like minded people to share my thoughts with but I still find it very hard to open up and talk to people around me - even here.

Of course here you can find people that are totally supportive and giving of their love, friendship and wisdom you need as continue to unravel your life's mysteries. You've found your 'hippy' friends.

Heya everyone,
thanks for your replies. I feel a lot better today- still quite exhausted, but my skin is showing a lot of improvement and you are all right, i just need to be patient and thankful that its coming out now and not showing in several years as some illness inside of my body.
Fruitius- I've never suffered from achne *touch wood* in that way and I can only imagine how hard it would have been. You must be on the right track- so inspiring to hear about your health now :)

Thanks again everyone for all the love and support xxxx

Helena- Do dark leafy greens have much omega 3's? I never knew!? I just associated them with avocado etc. Thank you so much for sharing, its relieved me so much to hear your story. I really do need to get into meeting people who are more like me. I completely understand that feeling of not wanting to slip back into old ways to 'fit in' but not wanting to b lonely either.
Oh I always knew I should move to Byron! teehee..more inspiration to do so! So where are you located now?
I really want to find some sort of dance class.

Thank you so much xxx

Ok, so probably this is wrong and what you have going on is detox rather than deficiency, and I'll probably get in trouble 'cos it's not really in line with the ethos of natural hygiene, but anyway, when you posted your 'skin update' on GI2MR someone suggested that it could be a keratosis condition caused by lack of Omega 3 fats and I wondered if eating lots of dark green leaves, like spinach, purslane and lamb's quarters, would help? I know I have lots of absorbtion problems from my old drink, drugs and excessive food lifestyle and I really crave them. I'm sure if you just carry on eating your narnas your body will heal itself beautifully, I just hafta take any opportunity to push those dark green leafies 'cos I love 'em :-)

And on the subject of socialising, from yesterday, I'm reeeaaally lucky to have lots of 'hippy' friends, who don't eat raw but who don't drink much and inspire me to get to bed earlier, go to yoga etc. I met most of 'em through 5 Rhythms dance (a kind of expressive freestyle dance/ moving meditation), dance camps and festivals, voice workshops etc. In fact, I just moved house to live with some hippy mates 'cos i'd been living with 'normal' people and, although they were nice, I didn't want to be around the heavy-drinking vibe, I felt like I had the potential to slip backwards in order to 'fit in' :-(. When I was in Oz, I lived near Byron and on a rebirthing community, so I didn't have any problems meeting hippies!!

Um, sorry, I didn't mean that to turn into a 'my life's so great' story, I just meant that it's totally worth joining some creative classes or whatever to meet new friends. Humans are social animals and I know how lonely you can feel when you feel left out even though you don't want to be doing what everyone else is doing. (And when I say 'hippies' I don't necessarily mean people who are totally feral, more just people who are into health, spirituality & creativity).

Keep the faith.
