Today is Day 448. Wanted to blog a few of my updates. The two pound I thought I lost was just a timing issue. I am still at the same weight I was a week ago. Still bloating like crazy! I have been experiencing lots of energy over the past week. I still have times I feel completely lethargic, but have been feeling an overall increase of energy. The energy is affecting my ability to fall asleep right away, but I am going to allow my body time to adjust to this new level of energy. Another item I want to note is my hair. It is still very thin on top, especially at my part, but the new growth looks so shiny! For those of you reading this, my hair has had a dry-look to it for years. I do not remember my hair to ever have a natural shimmer to it, sadly, since I was a young child. This is amazing to me! Even though my hair is not thickening up a lot yet, seeing the health of the roots gives me hope! My blood pressure: it has been low for years. My doc always told me I was 1 in a 1,000 people who actually needed to add salt to my diet. (?) Really? But normal for me was always 99-105/56. After all my research, this low of a blood pressure should have been a sign to him that my health was already struggling years ago. My blood pressure dropped down to 87/56 last week. Today I took my blood pressure and got it back up to 107/60. Better! I am going to continue keeping a close eye on my blood pressure over the next few weeks.
Again, for those reading this blog post, I started 30bad on April 3, 2013. I was pretty much raw until April 2014. I started adding in cooked dinners of rice, potatoes, oats, corn pasta, etc. At one point, thinking I might have fructose malabsorption (I have immense digestive issues and malabsorption due to several possibilities - too long to list the reasons), I ate cooked breakfast lunch and dinner, but only ate fruits in between as snacks (tried this for a very short short period of time, like 3 days). Initially, the bloat went down immensely, but just as quick it reared its head again. I am heavily considering going back to raw 100% to see if my bloat reduces now - now that it had a break with some cooked dinners. I cannot afford 100% raw honestly, but I need to give it a try to see how my body responds. I can always go back to Raw Til 4 if needed. I feel I have given this enough time and need to try something different. I am determined to get this bloat under control!! lol!
