I am just completing the 30th day of 80-10-10. I am not weighing myself or measuring anything until after 3 months, but I do know I am lighter and definitely more energetic. I still have not found employment so there have been about 5 days where I employed potatoes and/or rice where I did not have fruit. But I have been blessed to be 100% Raw and usually in the 90-5-5 range for the other 25 days. I am focused right now on not only getting enough fruit calories but also avoiding all overt fats. My fat intake has typically been in the 3-5% range (mostly due to the bananas). I do not want to employ any overt fats for at least 3 months to give myself a chance to overcome my addiction to them. So far, so Blessed.
I have learned to cruise the farmers markets for bruised bananas and I have been quite successful. As a matter of fact it is the abundance of cheap bananas that have kept me 100% raw most of the time along with the fact that watermelon can be had cheap at this time of year. I have been getting strong resistance from some close to me during the process, but once I am inspired to go in a direction, no person can stop me; and I am definitely inspired by 811. Its unfortunate but I have learned from past experience from raw that sometimes those the closest to you are the biggest detriments to moving forward when inspiration comes. But by the grace of the Lord, I move forward. I admonish all who encounter similar resistance to do the same. Its totally worth it.
My caloric intake has been in the 2500-3200 range usually around 2800. For the last 3 weeks I have been walking 4 miles per day and doing 30 pushups at the beginning of the walk and 30 more at the end. I have also added 50 yards of lunges during the walk over the last 2 weeks. Its interesting that, I really need to get a job and 811 is causing me to be even more diligent in order to get the necessary fruit. I was thisclose to landing a job (3 interviews) a couple of weeks ago, but it doesnt appear to have come to fruition. But I know it will happen in its Providentially appointed time.
We move forward.
