30 Bananas a Day!

today i ate: breakfast: orange juice from 8 oranges, smoothie of 5 nanas, 2 apples, 1 pear, some greens, lunch 7 apples/greens pulped in my hand blender, dinner, zucchini pasta and tomato and basil sauce with 2 nori sheets added (3 toms, 1 zucchini, half a cucumber, 4 sticks celerly, half a red pepper, basil). 1900 cals

better energy today. though still pretty wiped. for anyone following this blog this is a very standard day for someone with CFS. i'm tired. haven't done very much. sleepy, off to bed! little bit of pottering round my room, time on the computer, food prep time (where most of my energy goes), time with my youngest.

i've decided that i'm going to try to maintain 2000 cals for the next week. and once i've done that and feel ok, then i'll try upping it. my experiment with 2500 cals/2300 cals is that this causes me lots of gut pain, and i have to physically force the food into me. it hurts. so i'm going to up my cals gradually. starting by maintaining 2000 cals.

i weighed myself today, am going to only weigh once a week, tues mornings if possible. i am 120.4 lb, body fat 27.8%

anyone know how to lower bodyfat?

i've lost 2 lb since last tuesday.

i need the sun to come back !!!!!!!!!!!

well my energy seemed to disappear when the sun did... co-incidence?!
i'm gonna stick at 2000 cals a day for this week, anything more than that is abuse, or so says my gut. then work on slowly increasing it, as i can increase movement (that's the plan ha!). if there aren't enough cals inside us then there's no hope of our energy increasing, that's what i figure anyway. but yeah, sometimes it feels a bit like forcefeeding. there must be a way out of this situation for us though.

Yeah, were did the sun go?!?!?! Actually I sometimes get really stressed when its sunnny, because I dont want to miss out on it. So right now Im happy with the crappy summer in europe ;);)
I have no appetite these days, so just reading about your meals is too much for my stomach haha I havent had anything for dinner and Ive just made a smoothie, but could only take one mouthfull and..hmmm...hope you do well with upping the calories!

sorry to hear you have your own health challenges.
i'm in the uk, so not sure how relevant it is for you but...
i live in a small village, not near any towns or supermarkets etc (yay!), so i get all my food delivered once a week from the nearest organic shop. i have to plan at least a week in advance and phone in and tell then what i want, which i have been finding a bit challenging as its very easy to run out of food lol!
anyway, for the last few weeks i've spent about £45 each week on organic fruit and some veggies. if i'm going to up my calories then i'll need to increase this as well. it seems to really vary as to what's in season etc, and i don't get much tropical fruit (apart from bananas), my staples are bananas, apples, pears, oranges, kiwi fruit, melons, mangoes, and for veggies, zucchini, tomatoes, celery, cucumber, red pepper. i eat alot of greens but they all come out of the garden :-)) and in a couple of months i will also have lots of plums, apples, pears, and currants out of the garden too. should have had cherries but the crop has just been decimated by a heavy rain fall :-((
no access to things such as watermelon, papayas, and certainly no durian.
hope this helps, i'm still working it out!
