30 Bananas a Day!

day 11 - lots of watching rawdownunder's blog today :-))

today i ate 1 juicy small melon, 2 juicy mangoes (mmmm), lunch was a green smoothie with 5 bananas, 1 pear and 4 oz of greens, early evening was a large salad (1 red bell pepper, 1 courgette, 1 cucumber, 6 toms, 1 apple, juice of 3 lemons, 4 oz greens). took me well over an hour to eat. later evening i had 4 bananas, as i realised on plugging info into nutridiary that i was down on my calories again. which made my daily total about 1700 cals.

more overcast day, lots of gardening in the morning, but pretty tired the rest of the day. so i watched lots of rawdownunder's blog, fascinating and she seems so positive about 811 so far... haven't seen them all yet.

my lovely lover/partner/bf came back today, so that has been great too :-)) he's only been away a couple of days, but i miss him!

i live in a community and we are having a talking day tomorrow as there are things that need clearing up about our future direction, new members, etc. i'm hoping this will be a positive thing, but will probably be quite tiring for me, as i find talking in groups has a major detrimental effect on my ME/CFS. but hoping that my new found 811 will help! today is day 11, which apart from the little blip on day 4 means that i've been 100% now for 11 days, yay! and no overts for 5 days now. i'm slightly wary of making grand commitments as i think they can cause my rebellious side to ... well... instantly rebel and go against them, but i would really like to do this summer raw and with no overts. this might be a bit ambitious, especially as i'm pretty new to 811, but really, i've been slowly adjusting my diet for many many years, eliminating all sorts of nasties, and have been vegan since i was 23, and experimenting raw for 9 years, including 2 years at 100% (high fat). so... i should have shifted some stuff during all that! and i do feel good on 811, way better than when i tried high fat raw. i want to keep feeling good, keep travelling up rather than down the spiral.

and if i do have a blip... well that's all it is, like i managed to on day 4, just stop it as soon as poss and get back to my fruit :-)))
