30 Bananas a Day!

Hi folks,

don't know what's going on but I am feeling really bad. I am tired all the time, have absolutely no energy or motivation to sport, headaches, I cannot concentrate, I am all the time sneaking around the kitchen and eating, eating, eating (so my amount of calories are surely enough), I am gaining weight like hell (and no I haven't calorie restricted for the last year and eat a lot of carbohydrates all the time) and I am really demotivated again. I don't weight myself but I notice/feel the weight gain in my face, at my stomach and all the women "problem zones".

Breakfast: Watermelon + figs
Lunch: Tomatoes, Mangos, Olives, Bananasmoothie
Evening: Salad + Lentils
Although breakfast, lunch and evening cannot be divided that way because I am nearly constantly eating, maybe 2 hours break in between :(

Drinking tons of water. This evening we'll go walking to the top of a hill (about half an hour) and back. Sleeping 8 hours or more all the time. What's going wrong? :(

Steffi, losing the salt and seasonings and oil is going to be easier than you think.  Your poor tastebuds will have had a chance to come back to life - you will most probably find yourself thinking that plain steamed potatoes and rice actually have flavour!

Wow, you rock! Honestly I appreciate it sooo much when you help me out here with your comments and tips!! I have a lot of things to think about now and I know that I have to start up again but ONLY raw! This half cooked/half raw food thing is really not working out.

so...about food combining... watermelon and cantaloupe melon together are not a problem I hope? I also may want to switch the dense fruit with the watery fruit (breakfast/lunch), because I get less cravings in the day when starting with a huge banana smoothie and during lunch it is so hot here that a cold watermelon will really feel and taste awesome!!

Guys, you are so right about calorie restriction. There is still this "but you will gain even more weight while you want to loose weight" monster in my head :-( Although I know this is so stupid I am nearly afraid of eating all that I want - this would easily count up to 4000 calories!, especially if I eat the dates we have here.

@JackG: Can it be the same sort of lettuce every day? Arugula, spinach, ... is this also good? (I read about spinach + oxal acids...)

@Peter: Taste buds...you are right, a big big problem! The last month was not healthy at all (Ok, I ate a huge amount of fruit, but also mostly during the evening crappy salted or sometimes even fried food), and I remember that when I first did only 2 weeks completely 801010 the salads were every day more appealing!!

How do the other people here do it which still eat some cooked foods in the evenings (because of money, yes)? Chris Randall + Durianrider say, that this is the second best option and should be possible... But haha, okay I guess I have to leave out salt + spices and go back to fresh herbs. And salad is not the most expensive here, the most expensive are the huge amount of fruits.

you are detoxing and healing which means you are going the right way. How many calories you eat? And please - surely enough is not a number (LOL). There are no women "problem zones". There are only problem habbits and their concequences!

All foods have some fat in them.  Other foods are primarily made up of fat: avocado, nut and seed butters, etc.  So avoiding overt fats means avoiding these foods and things like oil.

Oh, one stupid question: What exactly are overt fats? My dictionary says "open", but I cannot relate that to food ;)

Hey Peter,

thank you for the great amount of tips!! No water at the mealtime & only 3/4 big meals a day is a good advice, I will try that!!
About the cooked food: Yeah, I thought so as well... it's just that every evening a salad is getting boring really fast (and more expensive than beans, chickpeas etc.)
Olives: They surely aren't good, that's right. I had a super intense craving for salty food today.

And bloating: Well, actually it feels like you describe it - "chubby flabby fat". So reduce salt and cooked food and it should go away?

Hmm, do you think that eating about 2200 calories feel like starving to my body?

The energy loss can also come from the extreme warm temperatures here at the moment (40°C, about 104°F).
