Haven't gotten around to a blog post for a few days, so I'll make this one worth it.
There is a cycling team in my town, totally free, for social and fun reasons. So I thought I'd check it out, the age group seems to be 30+ but who knows there may be some younger ladies come some days. The members meet at the local pools at 5:30 Saturday mornings in summer, and they ride for any where up to 40kms. Not sure how long that would take?! But it all sounds so cool, and I'm thinking of riding with them maybe every second Saturday, 'cause I actually am having driving lessons on Saturdays too. I will see how it all goes, try fit it in somewhere, hopefully.
I just bought a blender, my Mum helped pay too, and even though it is only a cheap one at least it will blend. Our last one broke about 5 weeks ago, and I have missed my banana smoothies SO much. Starting tomorrow (that's when my bananas should be ripe) I am going to Banana Island for a week. I have been getting the worst heart-burn and detoxing, so I am hoping a week of mono eating will get rid of the heart-burn. Also I have been mixing my fruits up a fair bit this last week.
I have successfully been nearly completely raw for 3 days now. I did have a couple of forks of rice last night and a crust of bread the other day. I know that cooked food is not bad, I just feel like I need to go raw to 1: get the results I desire 2: get over my addiction to breads. The breads are the hardest for me. I also know that when I am raw I feel better, sleep better, work better, have so much more energy and motivation.
