After some advice about some cuts at the sides of my mouth which I've developed.
I've looked it up on line and seems to be called 'angular cheillitis' - allegedly a result of vitamin B/iron deficiency, increase in acidic foods etc.
Anyway, I've been almost 100% LFRV for a month now - I don't eat overt fats and I eat plenty of fruit throughout the day and a big fat salad at night, followed by fruit for 'desert'.
I have definately upped my intake of apples (some 5-8/ huge ones/day), pears (5-8 huge's), also eat persimmons when I can find some, about 5 bananas/day, maybe handful grapes. At night I usually chuck some raw veggies into the processor (a beetroot, half a cauliflower, 2-5 carrots, 2-3 tomatoes, 3-4 stalks silver beet) process that and put some herbs for flavour. Sometimes I add a teaspoon of nepolitana sauce for 'dressing'.
Have steamed veggies 1/week. I train approx 15-20 hours/week (boxing/fitness/bikam yoga)
Anymahooz, these cuts just don't seem to be going. Also, I get a super sore tongue (burns burns burns), which has now caused me to wake up at night because of the stinging pain...
Loving how I'm feeling on this lifestyle - other than these two things.
...Oh, also forgot to mention, noticing that I'm getting pretty dry skin on my hands (almost cracking) and my nose is very dry as well....
Sorry for the long post but just wanted to give a pretty detailed account of the 'situation'.
Thanks for any advice!
