So today I bought myself a shiny new blender from Big W (Breville, $49) over my budget but I need one for banana island, which I plan to start tomorrow!!!
So I have spent my days off in Cairns, like I normally do and perhaps because I knew that tomorrow I would be taking a trip to the island, I have craved fat all day! So I gave in and enjoyed some marcona almonds, organic pumpkin seeds and a beautiful avocado.
I ate the avo with 5 extremely gooey persimmons, 250 grape tomatoes stuffed into wraps made of an entire head of butter lettuce. I sprinkled the pumpsin seeds on top. Delightful! I feel a bit stuffed yet satisfied. It was good final dinner.
I managed to pick up about 12 organic, unsprayed medjool dates from the Cairns community shop which I will use to make datorade for when I am low on bananas. Am I ready for the detox? Not at all. It will no doubt take it's toll on my skin. I might be able to squeeze in an hour of sunbaking tomorrow before work but on Thursday I am working a 13 hour shift. I plan on blending up around 3-4 bananas with penty of water so I can just keep sipping it throughout the day, alongside plenty of water.
