thank you Olive, i think I'm used to chweing gum but not addicted to it. :) I used to chwe after a meal that was so condimented, to take the flavor off, but now that I'm transitioning I think i won't need it anymore, just brushing my teeth. have a grat fruity Day!
it was one of the last things for me to give up (used it to transition from cigarettes). then i heard it was not vegan - and it was super easy to give up :) maybe read up on it, i am sure it is convincing. (I did not even read up on it, i just took that info and was happy it made me stop chewing gum.)

Chewing gum is about one of the worst things you can do to your health; it tells the message to your digestive system to start working while there's nothing going through. So don't even think of it. If you wanna chew gum, maybe you're lacking fiber? Go get some greens!
You say hillbilly like it's a bad thing, Mama :)
Modern gum is pretty much 100% petroleum. The gum itself, the flavorings and the colorings are all made from petroleum products and are toxic. If you have to chew something, get chicle sap of a tree (the origin of gum) or chew a hay stem like a hillbilly from the prairie. :)
