Today i finally came to the conclusion, that the "calories in vs. calories out" theory counts too for the high carb vegan lifestyle, BECAUSE expending calories doesn´t neccesarily mean that you´re working out like crazy or so, it simply means that your body "wastes" energy in any kind of way and cause if you eat like for e.g. 4500 kcal a day but only require 2500 that day what does your body do with those excess carb calories ? exactly: it BURNS them off through dietary thermogenesis, which is a way of energy expenditure.
So calories in vs calories count for a hclf lifestyle but not the way the SAD-crowd understands it like you have to actually move yourself and push yourself to your limit to burn those extra calories of.
And cause the body does so you can´t overeat on carbs ^^
