so I've had a cold for a week now. before this the last time i was sick with a cold was last february. could this be detox? i have a cough and have been coughing up mucous all week

add ginger to your diet! and water with organic lemon ! you can actually grade the ginger and pur hot (not boiling) water over it - it has pretty strong taste but it is a very good mucus dissolver!
and of xourse have lots of fresh ripe fruit! maybe even a mono meal! something like peaches or melons!
If you're eating cooked food, it's likely that it's contributing to the mucous.
