30 Bananas a Day!

Woke up early, had a good breakfast (grapes, oranges and the last slice of cheremoya from last night). Went for a quick run before hopping on the bike n heading off for the Native Seed Farm. Worked my way up the winding Farm road, past the strawberry fields n Avocado trees, through the big dust clouds that the Santa Ana winds blew up off the ground, down to the little 8 acre piece where I would spend the next four hours weeding and harvesting seeds. Learned how to use a scyth, met a guy who's going to the same school, watched the purple flowers waving in the breeze just like opium poppies, and just as I was getting sick n tired of it, it was time to go.

Zoomed down the winding road, past the avocado trees and the strawberry fields, down to the main road where I though of going home for some shade and water but decided to head straight down to the San Joaquin marshes for some adventure time. Surfed the tailwind down to the marshes, looked for the entrance, locked the bike up to the gate, stuffed my shirt into my backpack, tossed the backpack into the bushes n started to run. Ran past Pond#1 and looked at the water, deep blue. Looked down at the dirt. Listened to the frogs and birds. Ran past the south loop. Got lost on the south loop. Round n round. Down a bridge. Past a stinking river. Stopped by the bushes for a monkey style fruit poo, used my boxers for TP, had to leave them behind. Back to running. Felt light. Ran past two old ladies. Felt like a jungle boy. Found my way back to the gate. Asked some people if they were lost. Pointed them to the carpark. Ran a little more. Just a round around Pond1 and Pond2. Stood there a while at the gate drying off. Felt mellow as I put my shirt back on and headed home.

Surfed another tailwind home. Made a detour. Bought a watermelon. Found some unused prepaid costco cards. Went fruit hunting. Got some cara cara oranges and just as I was getting sick n tired of the heat and the sun, arrived home, drank some ice cold water, ate some nice cold pears from the fridge. Ate a big apple. Some of it was bad. Ate two of the cara caras, and just as I was getting sick n tired of it all, sat down on the floor and listened to some tunes while stretching. Sugar really enhanced the melodies. And just as I was getting sick n tired of the music, got up and wrote this. Now I'm getting sick n tired of typing so I'm going to do homework now. It's been a good day.
