Actually, I didn't eat as good as I would've liked or raw much at all during my pregnancy -though I did eat a LOT of blueberries. I had numerous complications, namely Hyperemesis Gravidarum which is a severe form of morning sickness that lasts all day & the whole pregnancy. I threw up after anything and everything I would try to eat or drink, even water for at least the first 5-6 months. Lost a lot of weight in the beginning because of it. Had to be put on a medication used for chemo patients to get hold of it. Also, ended up having a polyp on my cervix that I had to go in for surgery on. In the last few months also got Pica & Symphysis Pubis Displacement.
But, I'm breast feeding now & plan to stay raw myself & raise him raw also.
ahh, i'm sorry. I'm sure she was watching over you and her brother :)
A beautiful young gentleman. Congratulations, Kamalla :)
You're recovering well too, I trust?
Thanks so much for all your comments everyone! He's a really good boy! :)
In answer to your question Natalie, yes & no -I had a baby girl 7 years ago that died at 6 months in-Utero. I was induced then & labor was 13 hrs. That happened Dec. 23rd of '03, so it's really a special thing for us having a baby now at this time of year again.
