30 Bananas a Day!

I am back to 95% raw as of 3 days ago.  I have been doing a lot of research on grains in a vegan diet.  For those of us with compromised guts, the grains can be the cause of increased endotoxin regardless of the quality.  I know many successful vegans can eat cooked/grains/beans, etc., but for some of us, it may be too much toxin to handle.  Even though I have been at this going on 3 years, I am a bit older than many people coming to 30bad, so I think I need to do more healing on a raw diet.  Aiming to get back to 100% by end of week.  

It is very hard to find good produce around here.  It is making it tough to transition back into raw, but I feel I have no choice since I am not seeing any new improvements recently.  I cannot wait until I have a week under my belt - it was easier the first time around going raw.  I will continue to post updates!

Yes - Sometimes I can digest the cooked grains and beans and I feel good for the extra nutrients and calories - but most of the time - these foods just make me sleepy and snotty ( full of extra mucous in my sinuses ).

Dare I say it ?  I almost feel as though I can digest raw fats from avo, nuts, seeds, and coconut better than cooked grains and beans.

Still I have found 100% raw to be very hard to stick to consistently.  However, I am " learning how to do it "
