I really honestly don't like to brag, and I mean it when I say I am posting this for the purposes of disproving the naysayers about my fruitarian diet...but when you win a marathon, ultra marathon or middle distance race just about every weekend for months on end, people got to know about it ... especially when I eat nothing but fruit!
I ran the boston marathon on monday in 2:28, then ran 13 miles on tuesday, then 16 on wed, then 25 on mt. trails on thur, then friday took it easy only ran 3 miles, then sat. ran this 30 year old historic race 50km in 3 hours 30min and won...
I'm not saying what I'm doing next weekend, but if my fruitarian diet continues to hold up then I'm expecting some good results... so until then, it's back to 140mile weeks ... eat up folks!
I finally figured out how to use my gps watch...:
May 3rd update: Won the NJ marathon the weekend after this 50K! ;) Who's in line to try fruitarianism now!
