30 Bananas a Day!

So if I remember correctly I started this whole kit and kaboodle back at the end of March? It is so amazing how time has seemed to pass by so quickly and yet so slowly at the same time. It feels like it shouldn't be the beginning of June and yet I feel like I have been a HCRV for months now. For month two here are my results:

Weight: I have dropped two pounds since I started doing this. I will be perfectly honest, I haven't exercised at all. I'm actually quite sedentary. Would I like to exercise more, well ever? Of course. But at this point I am just not quite feeling the urge to get up and run or anything. Yes I feel great, just not great enough to start trying to run again.

Digestion: Amazingly improved. From going once every week/every other week to going once, twice, or three times almost daily is crazy improvement. 

Stomach: My tummy is becoming more accustomed to having more food in it then what I have ever put in there my entire life. I can eat banana ice cream made from 8-10 bananas and not feel like my stomach is swollen enough to roll on.

Emotions: Still continuing an overall sense of happiness and peace. I am so happy to be delving in to all of this delicious food and I am so glad that I am able to eat this way.

The Ugly: My grocery bill is through the roof. I have been trying to buy 80% organic and oh mama is it costing me a very pretty penny. I'm going to have to go back to just getting my staple (bananas) and my greens organic. (The greens are killing me the most. Here they are charging $2.99 for a head of organic iceburg lettuce. I'm working on saving up enough to plant some inside so I can always have some to eat.)

I'm sorry about terrible smelling toots/hot air ballon belly! :(

And okay, I'll experiment a bit without the dates and see what my body says.

Aw thanks C: I try to get in around 2500-3000 calories a day. Sometimes more sometimes less. I am honestly stumped on the dates. (I personally don't eat them because I don't like the flavor and they remind me of roaches. I'm just kind of weird like that lol.) I've had a few times were my digestion slowed down like that and I just ate mostly bananas all day then things would smooth themselves out. One of the things I have noticed though is if I eat anything with spices (like kale chips) it will make my tummy blow up like a hot air balloon and cause terrible smelling toots (not really sure how else to put that). I'm still trying to catch the swing of things too though! My advice would be to listen to your body and make sure to drink plenty of water. Peace and love (and may the fruit be with you)! :D

Great job! Good for you! Reading this made me so happy and inspired!

Also, I have a few questions! How many calories do you eat in a day? I'm kind of a newbie and still grasping it. And about your digestion: I've been eating high carb cooked vegan, usually Raw Til 4, and my digestion was going great, but in the past week I've been rarely having healthy bowel movements at all and only going maybe once every day/two days. I've been eating dates lately, do you think they have any effect on digestion?
