Yesterday was pretty easy on my teeth. My gums seemed a lot better. I ate mostly oranges and it was fine. I also ate lots of bananas and a big salad that evening.
I put my kids to bed and fell asleep with them, I hadn't really eaten my dinner though so I woke up a couple hours later to eat and didn't go back to sleep until really late. I ate a huge salad, then I got hungry again and ate bananas, then got hungry again and ate oranges...that may be in opposite order.
For this reason, I don't really know how much I ate, but I'd imagine it was around 3500 cals, which I am realizing is what I need. I should strive for 3000+ from fruit a day, 2000 is not cutting it...then with salad, avocado or hemp seeds, tomato, cucumber, etc. I should be good.
Late last night my gums started swelling up...they feel ragged today. This morning I woke up and ate a few bananas then went back to sleep. I tried eating an orange but my gums can't handle it today. This time it's the top of my mouth(upper palate)...I'm not sure what this is from...maybe from flossing? I thought I was very gentle.
I know that all these teeth/mouth issues are problems I had long before adopting this lifestyle and I am eager to solve them while sticking to this plan.
I don't have much of an appetite today, so I'm guzzling water and just eating bananas when I can. 3-6 at a time. I guess I'll go get more bananas and oranges at the store today, maybe try to find some good mangoes.
*I think I have reliable internet now so it should be easier for me to get to sleep earlier. The other thing I need to do is get a working blender so I stop making so many meals and actually eat my dinner before putting my girls to bed.
