I'm a frugivore, I haven't consumed any grains in over 9 months & no animal based products apart from oysters since last Xmas, many on 30bad like myself consume rich whole fresh ripe raw seasonal organic fruit, sometimes exclusively fruit for a week free of chemicals & animal inslavery for weeks, we don't kill cows, dogs, birds, green ants, all primates are frugivore, like all paleo people Keith makes accurate points about grain damage but takes it as a given that animal-food production isn't worse, paleos will hate on vegans but what about those bloody omnivores & vegetarians, as a frugivore I'll dig into everyone, including high fat raw vegans, what is true abolishinism, oh & kieth Jensen ect of deep green resistance, any of them healthy? Health enough to blow up a damn, to occupy a forest, NO, they write books & slaughter animals & think vegetarian means weak hunter, dot they even have a sense of humor, the only way to change the death urge of humankind is to become non compliance as much as possible, that's beyond just militant resistance & consumer choice, u guys make books, I don't care If u use recycled paper, that's like saying recycled silk is good for the skin, or ur social status, thick then act, & act, don't talk, act, undergound overground, is this like squatting, like dumpster diving, worth tactics but mearly survival mechanisms, but have elements that r very compliance given ur not using ur hands & mind to create an undeniably greate & healthier alternative..
Kill ur food, & they will kill u, be the change u wish to see & occupy the tropics along side ur primative brothers and sisters & all Frugivorous species, & let all other species saunter freely..

The book is so ridiculous it's not even funny. In a time when the bulk out of everything that is cultivated in the world goes into feeding animals (f.e 98% of the annual 225million ton soy-production) I find her book to be utterly crazy. Basically her book is about Weston Price nutrition ("cholestrol is essential nutrient"-stuff) and infantile dreams of the "ethical" farms being able to produce meat which people could actually afford to buy. (Factories account for 95% of all meat production in US, in regards to poultry the digits are 99%, it takes 26 calories to feed an animal which would provide 1 calory in return....good deal...ahem). She even recites wikipedia and protein power in the book....lol. I mean she does not even have clue what reliable sources are. I wonder if she even has elementary schooling, self-eductad she is not by any means.

Well, I happen to be married to Mark Messina, so I have a fairly good idea of what he “thinks” about soy intake. But even if I didn’t know him, I could read his 2006 analysis of soy intake data that was published in the peer-reviewed medical journal Nutrition and Cancer. Apparently, Keith didn’t or she would have seen that Asian soy intake is the equivalent of 1 to 1 ½ servings or more per day. Why did she get this so wrong? It’s because she doesn’t understand that there is a difference between soy protein intake and soy food intake. A cup of soymilk contains around 7 grams of soy protein, so the 8.6 to 11 grams of protein that the Japanese typically eat is equal to at least a serving per day".
