Dropped 8 pounds in 2 Weeks on Banana Island

I love banana island. I was at the doctor today and according to his scale I've dropped 8 pounds in 2 weeks on Banana Island.

I guess I eat about 90 percent fruit, mostly blended into smoothies but sometimes I get a hankering for a whole pineapple or half a watermelon. I eat a few raw almonds, some chia seeds, the occasional head of romaine lettuce, some kale or some carrots....

Day 10 On Banana Island, Down 5 lbs

I'm no newbie to a raw vegan lifestyle - but I'm new to the hig carb fruity lifestyle and after 10 days on the island, I'm loving it. I eat intuitively, whenever I feel hungry and I am eating about 90 percent fruit, mostly bananas. Wrapping Up Day 6 on Banana Island

Hello fellow banana eaters...

I just wanted to report that things are going well. I like my bananas and feel very peaceful with my eating.

I'm doing more like 10 or 12 bananas a day -- not 30 like some of you. But that seems to be enough for me with my current level of physical activity. I'm no tri-athlete. I'm a 48-year-old woman battling Multiple Sclerosis.

Sometimes I do my bananas in smoothies and sometimes I just eat them up.

I'm Eating Bananas, Not Drinking Smoothies

The allergies or cold I have been suffering from have given me a tickle in my throat. Drinking cold beverages makes it worse. So I haven't done many smoothies although I have been 100 percent raw and vegan since Saturday and it feels good and peaceful. I've been eating lots of bananas.

Day 1 of 30 Days of Smoothies

Hello my 30 BAD friends....

I have been so sick this week with a cold or allergies and I am looking forward to not only losing weight but straightening out my health with the 30 Days of smoothies only.

My "Field of Dreams" Bikini

30 Days of Raw Smoothies Starting June 7

I look forward to starting a 100 percent low fat raw vegan smoothie challenge for 30 days starting Saturday, June 7. Thank you, Robin, for putting this out here as an idea on the LFRV Weight Loss Group. I wanted to do it anyway and I am glad to have found support here. I just became a 30 Bananas A Day member today. I have done raw in the past and was only successful when I didn't try to limit the fruit. I LUVS MY FRUITS!!!
