One successful week.

Today is the 7th day that I have been completely LFRV. I have been trying to transition to fully raw for quite some time now. In the past the longest I've been 100% for is about 8 days. But the reason why I feel so happy right now is because this past week (as opposed to the previous brief periods of time when I ate only raw or even LFCV) has been so effortlessly EASY! Simple skin regime

For the past couple of weeks my skin has been breaking out. I have developed blemishes in the usual places (forehead, chin, and on my cheeks near my nose). Very frustrating. I have decided to stop using cleansers and toners. From now on I will wash my face with water. Though when I wear makeup I will use a gentle creamy cleanser with a microfiber cloth. Also I will wean myself off moisturisers. I will only use them when I wear make up. Hopefully I'll see an improvement!

I think I'm getting there...

So for the past few days I have only had cravings for raw fruits. But because I had some ingredients lying around yesterday I decided to make a cooked meal. It didn't taste that great and I was not left with the same satisfaction that I experience after a fruit meal. Even thought I was technically 'full', I still wanted more cooked food, so I cooked a load more potatoes. Ensuring I stay carbed up throughout the day...

In order to stay on track eating 100% raw vegan, I need to make an effort to eat around 2500 cals. This cal recommendation makes a lot of sense to me now. Every time I fall back into eating cooked food it's probably because I haven't been eating sufficient fruit calories. I usually find it hard to get in a lot of calories on days that I am working. I will be trying the following things to get in more calories:
