Fully Raw Vegan Day 3

As the title suggests, this is my 3rd day being back on the raw vegan wagon :)

Over Christmas I ate cooked s&*$$@ food for about 4 days and starting feeling extremely crappy. Especially since directly before that I had succeeded at being 100% raw for roughly 4 days. But now that the holidays are over and New Years is here I have no option but to set myself up for a full year of Raw goodness. So far, I feel so much lighter and I have a ton more energy! My skin is clearing and my…

mid life crisis??

I'm tired. tired of taking care of everyone/thing else BUT me. Would it be totally selfish if i packed it all up and took off to take care of me?? been 'separated' for almost a yr. but i still run around doing things for him. groceries,cooking..ugh. dosent support me in me wanting to better myself. course he smokes and drinks soda like its water. and dont forget recreational things. which i dont think is healthy for my 4yo to see. i call myself a christian. but havent felt or acted very…

Cooked food - 77%-13%-10%

Today, I had not managed to get my fruit intake.

Poor planning - nobody to blame but my lack of experience.

I had 4 clementines, 1 last ripe banana and a handful of raisins.…

good news/bad news

I think I had gotten my mother to finally see why this lifestyle is actually a good choice. I have not spoken to her directly about it recently, but I feel like her attitude has changed and she is giving me a lot less resistance. I feel as, if I put in some work, I could actually get this lifestyle to work as my mom is no longer an obstacle.

A part of me wishes I had never known about this diet. I wish I was content with being just vegan, but I know how much better my body feels on…

How do you want to feel in 2013?

I have always been taught to set goals and have long to do lists.

Ambition was never a problem for me.

Untill I found out, that I have it all backwards.

One year my goal was to have 100 powertalks in a year. The result was 134 powertalks and a bad health to show for it.

The price was being on the road all the time not walking my beautiful 6 year old daughter to school every day.

Not making enough love with my amazing husband and not having time for my daily…

You are what you eat... Thanks Dad ;)

My dad always used to say that you are what you eat. How many of us heard that? With so many chemicals being added to foods you have to wonder why we as a greater population seem so happy to just shovel these scientific concoctions down our mouths. Then we wonder why we get so sick. Salt, refined sugar and alcohol are to my body like poison. Food that is packaged makes me feel ill. So for me personally food must be RAW veggies and fruit. This makes me feel alive, happy and keeps me very… Continue

Great Program

Dr. McDougall program seems great, but in the end I feel better if I just eat raw.  Fruit is energizing and good health inducing.  I've learned my lesson, or should I say I've learned my experiment.  I was trying to mix and match my programs, 80/10/10 with Dr McDougall program, which in theory, would totally work, if.

If I wouldn't gravitate towards the cheapest option of rice and noodles, which are okay foods, but just not energizing enough to do what I want to do.  I wish to have…

Day 25 Need help

I'm definitely not eating enough but it's so very difficult for me to continuously eat more calories while I'm gaining weight and my skin is so horrible.    I'm still 100% lfrv and I don't want to stop eating this way but now it's becoming this scary tight rope walk.    I definitely don't get enough exercise and this bugs me because when I was eating 80/10/10 before, I felt amazing without the exercise (I was eating more fats).   I also don't have very much energy anymore.    This is all…

stomach aches gone

Since I eat smaller meals stomach ages has gone. I eat know just like 2 or 3 bananas per meal but I eat the same amounts of fruit. Just more meals per day. I also firured out that only organic bananas digest without problems. This worked for me and I think for you too. The solution is often very simple ;)

The Revolution

The revolution will not be televised

For it can't be sold or advertised

Cause' it can't be contained and bottled pint-sized

If you can't see it, act not surprised

For without a mirror, it's quite disguised

It's you, life's plan, silently devised

Of your beating heart it is comprised

Listen closely within for it's real quiet

It peacefully says, don't…

Am I eating too many bananas?

I love bananas and I eat at least 20 daily for start in the winter. I have been told by my friends that my potassium levels will be elevated which will affect my heart. They think I only need half of a banana to meet the potasium needs for a day. I eat 100% raw foods and I exercises at least one hour daily rebounding, cycling, weight lifting, joggong etc. I have not notice any side effects and my husband eats like I do so I am asking for your input.

Day 2

I know I should not, but I stepped on the scale, I'm down a pound.  This is one of my goofy mental blocks.  Because if that scale doesn't move I get upset.  I think I am going to give myself a gift for Christmas and toss it out.

I made a blend, grapefruit, blueberries, banana, strawberries, pears and clementines.  That grapefruit gave it quite the kicker.  It is interesting though.  When I use to drink a soda, milk, or some other fatty type of liquid I never gave it a second…

Raw Veganism vs Paleo vs Vegan - MY experience

Yep - everyone's got a story. I finally wrote down my transition, journey, and final outcome. I'm more than deeply appreciative to have found this lifestyle and know through all my studies, personal stress, and long-term search of truth pertaining to the human body, that fruit fuels us best...and of course I feel the best on it too!

Interested? (It's kind of long, warning)…
