Everyone seems to be hung up on lifestyle diet labels. When you look on YouTube for inspiration there are so many people who label themselves as LFHC (Low fat high carb), 80/10/10 , 100% raw, RT4 (raw till 4), plant-based vegan etc.. Of course it's fine to make a lifestyle choice or change that you identify with, but you need to be flexible with your journey.
It is easy to get too…Continue
Hi Friend :)
A while back I made a video focusing on how you can, and why you should, learn to love your triggers.
In todays video, I want to take this concept deeper.
I want to give you an even richer, more fleshed out, explanation of your triggers, of the things in life that show up over and over again to bother you, why they are there, and how you can finally…Continue

I'm really excited to announce the launch of my brand new recipe book: Robert's Rawsome Dessert Rolls!
After realizing just how many people went crazy over the original raw vegan cinnamon roll recipe last year I knew I had to go out and see just how far the cinnamon roll could be taken. By testing out all sorts of weird combinations of fruits and vegetables I've narrowed down the best of the best to just 10 mouth-watering recipes!
You get to splurge on delicious low fat raw…Continue
"After the frost killed the plant, I harvested the four luffas from the vines. I grew the Luffa plant in two large garden pots, and used a recycled drums for the vines to crawl on. Luffa gourds should be grown on a strong fence or trellis. They need a long growing season of 150 to 200 warm, frost free days" (gardensnet).
As you can…

What's So Freaking Special About The Present Moment?
We are often told by spiritual gurus and other personal development experts that living in the present moment is something we should be doing.
This idea sounds all well and good - but I think deep down most of us are thinking "why? What is the real benefit of being in the present moment? And if it is so great, why does my mind want to be running to the…Continue

Here is the deal friends - we all know diets don't work.
We all know that trying to lose weight via a standard, run of the mill program will at best work for a little while, but will inevitably fail because you will always fall back to old habits.
And hold habits = old results.
The reason diets don't work, is because they contradict your biology. They go against how…Continue

Who knew that I would still be here in 16 years-- still admiring fruit trees on the same property. It's almost as if this 16 year old photo foreshadowed my future.
If I recall correctly, this is a picture of me at the age of nine. I am standing beside a white blossoming Plum tree. It must have been a warm spring day. Here I am enjoying the scent of the plum blossoms, and admiring all the blooming fruit trees in our yard.
At one point, my family had several plum trees, pears,…
Every feel like the Universe is out to get you?
Like no matter how much you try to become the ideal version of yourself, no matter how much effort you put into your work, your relationship, your body, your mental attitudes - nothing seems to come together for you?
Like every time you take a step in the direction you want to go, something comes up and seems to knock you back a few pegs?…Continue

Although it's called the Vegetarian Festival, the festival is actually vegan (jay/ เจ) and for two weeks the people of Thailand will hold various ceremonies and eat vegan food.
This festival is awesome because for 2 weeks (and overspill) 7Eleven is full of vegan food, there are vegan goodies all over the place and even Air Asia are offering vegan meals! […Continue
Long time since last 30BAD. I now live in a paradisic lodge with a deck and pool facing a river at Kruger Park (South Africa).
I see/film hippos, elephants, crocs, impalas and other fun animals almost daily while working on the laptop and downing banana smoothies.
I love it! Just miss friends to do it with.
On the other side of the house is a normal town and I love the combination! Fruit and veggies here are nothing special but it works and I have my skateboard ramp,…Continue

Sunday, thank you so much for your kind support and things to keep in mind that nutrition is what is going to save our health. It is that and having time to rest and sleep and restore one's body. I have to advocate better for more quiet time. It is so easy to just over schedule, overdo, overeat, over compensate for the stress and sadness i am feeling as i see my parents decline. one forgets to just be and that is healing. i allowed myself to give up my one sunday alone time to rest and…Continue

If you have been keeping up with my posts, you have seen the many figs I have been harvesting from the trees. For the last month I have been picking a couple of figs per week. It wasn't until July and August that the figs started to form on the trees. But I noticed that the figs would be little greens nubs one day, and then they would be big, plump, luscious purple fruits the next day! Of course the Figs taste excellent, what I would describe as a mix between Peaches, Plums, and Apricot jam.…Continue
