Day 2

Sleep:  7.5 hours (too little)

12 oz. water upon waking – I’m pretty nauseous usually that early in the morning so that’s as much as I could stomach.

 

Breakfast:  Smoothie with 5 bananas and 4 dates. - Drank half at 7:30 am and half at 10 am.

Lunch: 2 bananas and 6 dates 12:30 pm

Snack 2 bananas – 2:45 pm

12 oz. water – 4:00 pm

Snack – 4:00 pm – 300 g strawberries

Dinner – 6 pm – 2 cups fresh orange juice

Feeling like this isn't going to work for me...

I don't know if I can do this...  I just don't know.  It's been 2 days (not even) and I'm already doubting myself.

Day 1 - Full day notes

So it's day 1 and I'm already having a difficult time... I guess when my bananas get ripe I'll have a lot easier of a time.  I've got them in a paper bag right now with the hopes that they will be good to go tomorrow.  Also, need to buy more bananas tomorrow to get those started in the ripening process.  This is going to take a lot of getting used to!!

Day 1

Fall, Cantaloupe Smoothies and Healing Services

Hi there everyone   :)

So, it has been fall for a little over a month now.  The funny thing about fall is that it usually only seems to be about a month or so long around these parts!  At least the pretty part, that is.  After that, there are mostly bare trees for quite some time and then snow typically comes before it is technically over.

Benefits thus far on this newbie's journey: forehead rash disappeared thus far

I want to focus today on what has changed since I have incorporated more lfrv meals in my life and I am happy to say that the eruptions of a rash has disappeared from my forehead.  I see that this was a direct result of my previous diet.  I have been very consistent with my morning breakfast choice of 4 cups of water with fruit and celery or cucumber combo and that has gone relatively easy.  I have been more consistent in my daily exercise and have lost a little weight as well.  My…

food combining/timing

just out of interest, is it a bad idea to have salads during the day and then more fruit later? i had fruit for lunch today, then a big salad, and went to work looking and feeling nine months pregnant.. i could barely fit into my skirt! it was quite depressing, i'm hoping this was a once off.

NEW with QUESTIONS...

HELLO!

I am new and super keen on 80 10 10 and 30 Bananas a day.

I have been doing this for a week and relatively easily. First few days was head-achy and feel a little fuzzy headed from time to time.

I am interested on the Calorie factor. I KNOW that 2500 is recommended for women but i need more info.

Every calorie estimator says that i need 1500 a day to lose weight in a healthy consistent manner along with exercise.

Juice cleanse

I have been having a hard time transitioning onto a one hundred percent raw diet so I am going to begin a fifteen day juice cleanse tomorrow. 

This will be my second full juice cleanse. I have done 2 day and three day ones as well.

Does the bloat ever go away??

I'm on day 6 of the HCLF 80/10/10 and I'm waking up everyday happy because I know how much juicy sweet fruit I get to consume..but I can't seem to get past the bloating from all the volume I'm not used to and it's preventing me from working out. I'm eager to start running again so any advice would help!!

Juice Day

Top to bottom

Black Sigg = cucumber, coconut water, and mint [snack or break through hunger]

Orange = Carrot Ginger [lunch]

Yellow = Pineapple with rind and valencia oranges [Breakfast]

Green = Red Chard, cucumber lemon [Dinner]

Beet Red = Beet, ginger, lemon (will dilute with water throughout the day) [Pre-dinner]

Beginning my journey to health...

4 Day Fast: Day 3

My Doctor won't give me B12 Shots...What do I do now?

     Just yesterday I went to see my doctor to ask her to give me Vitamin B12 shots, and I used being vegan as a excuse to need them. Before giving me a lecture on how all vegans are deficient in iron/protein/calcium, she told me that I wouldn't need them at my age (15/16) and that I should just take a Vitamin supplement. She's a very knowledgeable doctor, but only knowledgeable on the things that she was taught in med school.  She insisted that I was deficient in iron when CRON-O-meter…
