Im so over this looser attitude (-:

After 20 years on the weight rollercaoster IM OVER IT.....I've finally realised thanks to Freeleee and Durian rider (and others) drumming it into our heads, that the only way to succeed on this lifestlye and maintain a healthy body and mind and stable weight is to EAT ENOUGH CALORIES.... It's finally sunk into my rather slow brain(-:

After 20 years of searching for the 'perfect' emaciated body, ruining my health in the process and eventually ending up overweight and depressed…

Dinner taking me about an hour to make!!!

This is my first post and apologise if it's a silly one.

I am really new to lfrv I'm on day 8 of a 30 day trial but feeling a little low today as I'm eating so late at night.  I try and eat earlier but by the time I have put my baby to bed, cleaned a little and then started to think about myself it's already about 9.

I have 80/10/10 book and I'm using some of the recipes there for dinner, as I'm not great at making salads and I'm not really…

Here's my dilemma. I HAVE A BLACK WIDOW IN MY BACK YARD. SHE WOULD COME DOWN FROM THE ROOF EVERY NIGHT AND SET HER WEB IN THE TOMATO PLANT WHICH MADE THE TOMATO PLANT HEALTHY BECAUSE I HAVE A TON OF BUGS IN THE PLANTS THAT SHE SEEMED TO BE MUNCHING ON. a real cool and mystical creature. now she has laid a ton of eggs. and she might have even left because I don't see her any more. Do I kill the eggs. Can I move them elsewhere?

Is any killing killing. I tend not to see things in black…

The beginning of it all.

I love meat. in fact fish would be the main one. other than chicken and pork and occasionally beef.

but my weight never went down because i loved it so much, i ate minimal vegetables and sometimes just enjoy a few fruits mainly watermelon, guava and pears.

one day i came across durianrider's youtube on being fat and that was the video when he was recording from his bicycle. it then linked to his other videos, and thats how i came across…

Man Oh mann!

Darn I'm so angry at myself.. Lol. I have been 80/10/10 for a while and doing great! Today i was an idiot and decided to have some super salty spicy cooked vegan food. Now I feel freaking horrible! Earlier I was at the skatepark showing everyone up and performing ultra well. Same with me at the gym earlier. Fruit makes me awesome! now I know for now on not to do little experiments with cooked food...

Day 10

Im on my 10th day of 100% 80 10 10.  It has been quite easy for me, i didnt have to detox from alcohol, coffee, or wheat  because i didnt used to have those things before.

i did used to eat quite a lot of chocolate and used to find it hard not to eat at least a couple of hundred calories from it a day.  These 10 days i have not had one single craving for chocolate or anything.

Ive hardly suffered at all, only been sometimes feeling a bit tired and a bit light…

And it begins....

So, for anyone interested, I will begin a blog that follows my journey through this fruity lifestyle. I love the concept and the whole high carb thing, I just have soo much trouble saying "no" to others around me who tempt me with non-fruit foods. My whole life is used to being revolved around going to coffee and snack food places. My best memories with my boyfriend are in those places and we visit them often for that good feeling again and again. I know we can make new feelings and memories at… Continue

Well, I just got done looking at calories for different fruits and veggies. I am going to have to eat a lot more than I thought. At least I like to eat.

I started out raw today and made it all the way until dinner. I was doing good I thought. And then I fell off the wagon. Later this evening I read on this site that if you don't eat enough calories in fresh fruits and veggies, you'll start to crave cooked food. I thought about what I had today to eat. Not enough. I might have had…

why just nourish your body from the inside?

today i dove into a cantaloupe but it was half past ripe. i wanted to do something with it to feel like it wasn't a complete waste of money by just pitching it. i rubbed it on some cuts that i acquired from off road biking this weekend. next thing i knew i was in the tub rubbing it all over my body! haha. i used the outer edge of it to scrape my skin and went back over all of it with smooth scooped out chunks. got some aroma therapy while letting it all set into my skin and hair. after…

5 Toxins Inherent In All Meat - Even the Purest Free Range, Organic Meats

Some people think they can avoid all of the harmful affects of meat consumption simply by choosing, free-range, local, or organic meats. Unfortunately, this is simply not the case. Although the level of hormones, pesticides, and antibiotics you are exposed to may be slightly lowered by choosing free range and organic animal products, it's the meat itself, not the quality of the meat, that is poisoning those on the Standard American Diet (SAD). There are five major poisons inherently found in… Continue

Reliable B12 in Vegan Food Source

I know some people on here might say Chlorella and Nori is not vegan, but I disagree. And I would much rather do food than injections or pharmaceutically synthesized forms of B12 (cyanocobalamin, hydroxocobalamin or methylcobalamin)

There is now reliable and credible evidence that Nori and Chlorella contain substantial amounts of human active B12!! here are the links, read 'em and weep meat eaters.

My fellow vegan and vegetarians,

Chugging along...

I've had my ups and downs this first month.  I've definitely had slip-ups, intended and unintended cheats, and days where I pretty much felt like throwing in the towel because I was so frustrated with my lack of self-discipline.

But I'm still chugging along and figuring out what works well for me.

Today was a really good day.  I have figured out that the more greens I incorporate, the fewer cravings I have.  Celery juice, especially, helps with salt cravings and doesn't…
