Feeling very emotional today. Big life change for me this year.  Changing my lifestyle with this diet has been so positive on so many levels. I have made the decision to go through a divorce.  Too many years of hiding behind emotional abuse and not pursuing my dreams.  I was never supported in the relationship.  Court day #1 tomorrow..... I am so nervous.  Feel like a failure for being 31 and divorced and at same time feel free.... Don't know if I believe in marriage anymore.  :( Not much…

Day 22

Today has been the hardest day that I've had in a while. I feel so alone; everyone looks at me like I'm a freak, especially my family and so called friends. Not like I have many to begin with anyway. I wish I knew what to do with my life. I keep praying and asking God, but every time I get a response it seems like the whole world is against me. Sometimes I don't even know why I keep trying. I hope tomorrow will be better.

avoided dates, but have had issues around chocolate and some dairy. had some sweetmeal biscuits, last night, because i ended up with minor esophagitis after drinking carbonated water on an empty stomach.

-had been eating mostly salads, before that happened. wondering if my stomach acid is changing with diet, or as a result of monthly hormonal changes; or, just because it was carbonation and lemon on an empty stomach.

-have managed to avoid dates. i don't think they are the best…

Just joined 30Bad and am transitioning from a high raw vegan diet with more greens and veggies. So far I have been doing a smoothie for breakfast, fruit throughout the day (and sometimes lettuce with half an avocado) and then a large salad or zucchini pasta with tomato/walnut sauce at night and maybe a few dates or smoothie for dessert if I'm still hungry.

The only issue I am having is that I am EXTRA COLD throughout the day. I guess it doesn't help that I work at a health…

4 months on hcrv

Well, this was the end of my preliminary experiment with this lifestyle and diet.  In the past few months, I've switched to a plant strong diet.  I've tried to go for vegan low-fat.  I've tried to have at least 2 fruit meals a day.  I've tried to eliminate animal products from my diet.  I've not be 100% successful on any of these goals but I'm convinced that I'm heading in the right direction.  It is normal for me to have bananas for breakfast, dates for lunch and rice for supper.…

Day 21

Rest day today=no weight lifting, cardio, chores, or work. My mind never seems to get the memo though. Have a million thoughts and worries going through it, but focusing on giving them over to God.

Still super full from last night and dehydrated as well.

Lips doing better today. Not as chapped or itchy either. Got a little itchy and raw as the day progressed. Probably from un ripe cherries.

Day 20

Lips still chapped.

Super tired. Very long day at work and just want to sleep.

2L water, 14 bananas, 2.5lbs grapes, kale with lemon and a little bit of tahini, and a few cherries.

Wanting to give "no poo" a try for my entire body, but will have to do some research the next few days to figure out where to start! :)

Embracing challenges <3

After a long time on 100% raw and 100% organic, I fell into some major financial issues. Fortunately, I have a wonderful family who was willing to help me out with feeding myself and my son. Day 19

Worn out.

Lips still chapped.

New cystic acne on left side of cheek and some reg acne on and around nose and forehead.

Tried dates today and they're just too sweet for my taste right now.

Bananas still not ripe so had 2.5 Tbsp organic hummus for dinner. I hate having to eat it, but it's either that, crackers, or nothing so yeah. Hopefully the bananas will be ready tomorrow!!!

Feeling cut out because of my eating habits.

I first started eating like this a year ago. My energy levels increased, my skin got better, my eyes brighter and my smile wider. But I was dependant on what my mother bought for groceries and could only eat so many calories in one day. Because of that, I lost a lot of weight near my shoulders and around my face. Day 18

Lips still chapped and peeling.

Worked from 8-530 today. I hate it! Messes up my eating and drinking so much.

Weight trained for 45 min.

2.5L water, 14 bananas, honeydew and cantaloupe, 8 plums, red leaf lettuce, and organic hummus (ran out of ripe fruit and still hadn't met 2500 cals...did not taste good at all! I just love my fruit so much now that processed foods taste like crap!)
