- Excercise:

40 minute walk (including 17 minute jog) - stacked it while jogging this morning and skinned my palms and elbow and knee (ouch...they are even hurting while I type) so I cut my run short cos I wasn't feeling up to it...bummer

- Food:

8am papaya, bananas

11.30am custard apple (now thats a challenging mono meal...they are too damn sweet! had to add the celery to balance out the sweetness) + 4 celery sticks

My story (Lame title, I know)

Six years ago I became a vegetarian. I don't know why it just felt right and it still does. I always had problems with my weight, I nearly tried everything (weight watchers, atkins, exercise, fat camp, a fast, eating only soup made of cabbage...). Day 19

I feel so huge and bloated and I haven't even eaten any salt today. Am I gaining weight? I know I'm not supposed to care about this if I feel good, but I feel exactly the same as I did before. I guess I'll find out when I weigh in on saturday. Maybe I will never lose it. I think i'm just frustrated.

What is my MIND telling me? .... and how is it WRONG?

Day 134, 100% Raw Fruitarian

Tuesday, Day 134, 100% Raw Fruitarian. A small development in my fruitarian regiment. Today, i wasn't in the mood for any sauce on my non-sweet fruity salad. It was so good i had two large bowls of it. i did add the seasonings to the salad, but i can see the time coming where i won't want that either. Ahhhhwww man.

Well for the last few days I have not been doing so good. Generally, fruit by day, cooked by night and I did it again tonight. Kind of a bummer.

At least I lifted heavy weights for a half hour......I am very tired and sore.....so I have that to make myself feel ok.

I am going to try to get it all raw tommoro. I was so close today.

I don't feel good. I'm really really tired. I ate a pinneaple, a small banana, 4 oranges, and guac with cucs. I ate too muchhhhhhhhhhh. But I need energy which I have none of....

Day 25

I've got similar physical stuff coming up today (a few days after eating something cooked) that was coming up for me a few days into this 811 journey about 4 weeks ago. I have got cracks in the side of my mouth as well as the skin on my hands is feeling really dry; pain just below the rib cage; and pains in my chest when I take a deep breath. All of these symptoms disappeared after a day or two a few weeks ago so I am hoping the same will happen this time.

Day 133, 100% Raw Fruitarian

Monday, Day 133, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Felt nice and sore today. My triceps, lat muscles and biceps. Felt nice, the muscles really got in a good workout yesterday between the chins, dips, pull-ups and basketball. i ate well today. Had some durian, watermelon and mango. Can't get better than that. i didn't workout today as i wanted to let my body recover. i am leaning towards focusing on legs tomorrow with the one-legged squats. Last Day in Chanthaburi

It's 15:18 (gotta get used to the 24 hour clock, which I kinda like). Today I went to the Nom Tuk Phiu national park and the Pui waterfalls. It was a good time. I got a ride there from town center. As I was about to go it was looking like dark clouds rolling in, but I braved it anyway, as I had gone to bed excited about it and already pretty much had my mind made up.

first few days in thailand

all's going great.. been hanging in chanthaburi the first 2 days thus far.. first day i spent finding my way in, and out, of bangkok.. that place is chaotic and i knew i wanted to be out of there ASAP.. the bus ride to chanthaburi was a bit painful, as i had fasted for almost my entire trip here (about 24 hours) and not eaten much once off the plane, and all we kept passing were mounds and mounds of durian and jackfruit, trucks full of pineapple, and all kinds of other fruit stands… Continue

Day 16

Feeling well. Ate 2 pears. My bananas and mangoes are still not ripe. I really need to go to the produce store. I am getting head rushes whenever I stand up, am I not eating enough? Last night I went out with some friends (which I haven't done for a few weeks since I've been so busy). 80% of them were drinking but of course I didn't. And guess what? I still had fun!
