What are your favorite HCLF raw and cooked recipe websites & blogs out there???? I know there's a lot of great YT channel but to be honest I don't really like watching a video in order to make a recipe, it's nicer to have written words, you know?
I know of the popular ones like Happy Herbivore and Fat Free Vegan, but are there any other great ones that are maybe less known but still good?
Specifically, I'm really wanting to make some GOOD…Continue
I'm turning 16 this year and still living with my parents. I've been on the hclf vegan lifestyle for about 2 months now and have been getting more energy and can focus more on my school work much better than when I ate meat. I'm both in vegan-ism for both the health and ethical reasons, having watched earthlings it really made me want to stick to the vegan diet. Though my parents, especially my mum, have a different view of it.
My parents think this lifestyle…Continue
Oil of Oregano is good for many things! I like to put it in my smoothies at times. Tastes great and will help fight off any colds, etc.

Hi everyone, I want to become an au pair in the US and I really would like to stay with a vegan family. I will go through "Au Pair Care", so they will find a family for me, but I just wanted to see if there is anyone here that is looking for an au pair or if there is someone who knows a family that is. Anyone?? :)
I am 21 years old, from Iceland. Currently living in Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. I work at a…

So hey guys. I have just been on something of an emotional roller coaster. More specifically the part of the roller coaster that goes straight down. You see, my sister, who is a pharmacist, has just called and talked to me on the phone. She has placed doubts in my mind, and I am not too sure about much of anything that I want to do. My sister, to my surprise, accepted the fact that i am going vegan with an open mind, but she also pointed out that I am only 14 and that I am still…Continue
Wait, what happened?
On March 8th 2015 in the heart of Manhattan I broke an official Guinness World Record “Greatest distance run…Continue
So I have major news! Someone suggested for me to use Cronometer to make sure that I am eating enough calories, and I just broke 2,000 calories! I have now eaten 2,030 calories today, and I just had a wonderful dinner of 2 steamed potatoes over snow peas with squash sauce on top! I feel so full and content, and especially so because my brother started leaving me alone when he saw how much food I was consuming. Even my mom left me alone and seemed satisfied that I was eating a lot of…Continue

I am 16 years old. I need guidance because I am not getting the results I want being a HCV (1.5 months) . Instead I'm gaining weight. I really love eating high carb but at the same time I dont like how I look. It makes me feel so sad about my self because of how my body looks. I'm afraid that if I continue eating like this I will gain so mUCH weight and I dont want that. I was 57 kg and 166 m, now I am 61 kg.
My activity levels include: kickboxing for an hour three times a…
I'm sitting here reading posts about families and friends who don't support or understand why a person may want and need to become a vegan (completely ridiculous and ignorant!!), and I am feeling so grateful that my family is so supportive of me and my lifestyle choices!
I became a vegetarian when i was 9, the only person in my family, and a full vegan last year. Since that time my family has been so great at making separate meals for me- im 17 and still live at home- and in turn…Continue

Okay, so I haven't been on here for a while, but short story I found out what was wrong with me and I'm in the process of untwisting bowels and such and switched to eating raw again and feeling so much more motivated.
But! That's not the point of this haha
Lately, well, okay. More like my whole life, but now more than ever, I feel like I'm drifting away from every single person in my life. No one here shares my views on things other than my mom, my friends "support" my healing…Continue
Hey guys, welcome to my first blog! For those of you who dont know, I am a complete newbie at being vegan, especially since tomorrow will be my first official day. I would have gone vegan earlier, but I had the issue of persuading my mom to let me(more on that later). But now, I have decided not to listen to what anyone says about my diet(except those giving useful advice, of course) and to be vegan. I hope that I will be able to go raw or rt4 vegan soon, but with the situation that i am…Continue

I found out about how to make this dressing through youtubes Chef and The Dietitian. You can find the video here # 43 - Take 5 Salad Dressing
2 Tablespoons Date Syrup. I didn't have date syrup instead I used 2 dates but it would probably be even better with the date syrup.
2 T low sodium miso
2 T water
2 T lemon juice
1 T low sodium dijon mustard. Blend it all together and…Continue

I learnt how to make Miso Soup for the first time today. Apparently it's good for balancing the hormones so if you feel blah before your period or whenever, have a bowl of miso soup. Chinese people have miso soup even for breakfast. I guess it's like their feel good chicken soup :)
1 cup of water. Bring to boil.
1/4 sheet of nori sheets because I didn't have kelp or Wakame
I also added some chinese noodles. You can also add green onions and potatoes instead of…Continue

Cravings for unhealthy foods and binge eating are no fun.
It can be really uncomfortable- even frightening - to feel out of control around food.
It's also no fun to feel like you want to eat foods that you know don't make you feel well. That inner battle and struggle can really overwhelm and take over your whole day.
Here are my real life tools that you can use right here, right now, today to help you move through what can typically be a really difficult…Continue
