So... After a couple weeks...

I've decided that the whole transitioning thing doesn't work very well. When I do eat any fat or extra salt and anything cooked- even low fat- my body seems to inflate like a blimp. I'm a little depressed about it because I want so badly to not fail at this and it seems that my disordered eating habits (binging/purging then heavily restricting) are amplified by this life style.

lots of yoga ..sore and awesome

i have been doing yoga everyday lately at the VAC and im feeling so strong and awesome! very sore rhomboids,  supra/infraspinatuses, anterior deltoids, triceps, adductors, hamstrings, and glute medius lol. upper traps and levator scaps are also tight/sore, but this is nothing unusual. 

last night's restorative yoga was exactly what i needed and my upper back and shoulders felt soo much better after .. although still sore. my rhomboids are probably weak, so all this…

Daily diary! Poor appetite and allergies!

This morning I woke up with a bad headache, however it has improved! I still have some drainage and such. I feel a bit more tired and my appetite stinks. Detox? Anyhow --- yesterday went well. My cravings are in check and I feel functional. Yesterday:

Breakfast: Banana smoothie with carob, hemp seeds and almond milk

Lunch: Golden delicious apples and mangoes!!

Dinner: Romaine, celery, carrots, very little red onion, with orange/avocado/lemon juice/date…

Day 5 !

Jus had boiled rice about 4/5 spoonfuls with carrots and 3 bananas. Not liking the fact that I had boiled rice but hmm ah well onwards and upwards!! ;)

2 Year 100% LFRV Anniversary!

Not only am I turning 25 this weekend, it's also my 2 year anniversary of being 100% low fat raw vegan! I've been high-raw since 2007 and vegetarian since I was 12 :)

Anyone for living in a big house in Hilo?

Let us unite in our simple elegance and share exquisite company.

I'm going for a 7 bedroom house for rent just up the hill from Hilo.

It is already permitted to be all sorts of interesting things, like a group home, foster home, day care and business center.

The house is on four acres of fruit trees and we could have a fruit tree nursery as well.

Seems like a no-brainer to me, given our growing numbers, just mustering resources as it costs $3grand/month to rent…

Water Consumption and Adding Lemon & Stevia

So I know it's important we drink a lot of water. For a while now I have been adding lemon juice and stevia to my water. I add Santa Cruz Organic Pure Lemon Juice to it. I go through a 16 oz bottle every 2 days. The stevia is organic from Trader Joe's. I was wondering if this is okay? If it is, should I be using fresh lemons instead? Opinions on stevia? Or would another sweetner be better?

Daily diary... Three days strong

Yesterday went quite well! I am having troubles with SEASONAL ALLERGIES! I am sneezing and have a lot of congestion. I didn't get any allergies last year. However, my son and I have been taking frequent trips to the park. Last night I woke up a  couple of times due to congestion. Boo! Here is what I had yesterday to eat:

i eat yoghurt!!!!!!!!!!!! (dairy) :(

ok i've been so good on the hcrv lifestyle but i have one guilty pleasure.. yoghurt

i know im not technically a vegan now but i don't see the harm in eating low fat greek yoghurt?

i checked the nutritional info and it contains high carb and protein and very low in fat. whats wrong with it? i know you vegans will come up with a conclusion as to how its bad for your health. please persuade me out of this youghurt eating nonsense, thanks x
