What i ate today 2/26/15

breakfast:

big ol smoothie bowl with 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 cup strawberries, 2 bananas and a couple tbsp powdered acai. I LOVE acai it gives such a nice sour taste contrasted with sweet berries. topped with handful of black and raspberries

lunch:

2 chinese baked buns filled with seitan. these have more oil than I would like, so i made sure to limit myself to 2. also had my fav meal combo right now, mushrooms, zuchhini and sweet chilis in Chinese black bean paste and…

breakfast:

big green smoothie with 1/2 cup jarred peaches which I rinsed, 2 bananas and 2 big handfuls spinach

lunch:

1/4 zucchini, 4 mushrooms, and 1/2 carrot stir fried in water with 1 cup vegan chili. I also had 1/2 cup cooked quinoa

dinner:

we ran out of water at school so the only options were a PB&J on white bread and an apple

Hi All! Wondering if anyone is from Charlotte, NC or surrounding areas? I'm trying to meet similar people who share this lifestyle, and so far, it's been tough! A support system makes things easier, and in the South, I'm finding there's not many people who share the vegan diet, let alone raw/lfrv lifestyle. Can't digest cooked carbs?

Hey guys. I have had to go back to eating high carb raw vegan after trying starch solution for a third time. I might try eating cooked carbs at night in small amounts...idk. But I run into problems with cooked starches, like rice, potatoes, and pasta. They really !@#$ with my digestion. I don't like it because I want to be rawtill4, but can't seems to stomach the amount of carbs I need when they are cooked starches. I can eat lots of fruit thoough so that is what I have gone back to. But…

What I ate today 2/23/15

breakfast:

a package of pineapple

snack:

cherry pie lara bar

lunch: 

big green salad with cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, black olives and italian dressing, and an apple

dinner:

2 pieces of vegan lasagna filled with mushrooms, olives and lots and lots of spinach, plus 1 small breadstick. using up leftovers before vacation next week!!!

exercise:

5 miles bike plus 4 1 minute sprints on treadmill, mild abs…

Hawaiian apple bananas

I WENT against the rules and got results.... what the fruit

two weeks ago, i was craving an avocado. so i had a whole one

this tendency continued for a week.

i HAD AN AVOCADO or more a day

then i started adding even more pumpkin seeds, GREEN OLIVES, brazil nuts, pistachios....

and i started noticing the more fat i ate - the better my skin and ACNE GOT.

its been two weeks without a BREAKOUT???!?!?!?!?!

EVERYONE BEEN TELLING ME EAT NO OVERT, 5% FOR BEST RESULTS

breakfast:

1 package blackberries

lunch:

stir fry with 1/2 zucchini, a handful chickpeas, 4 button muchrooms and half of a carrot in a tomato sauce served over 1 cup white rice

The Two Main Reasons You Are Struggling To Love Your Body.

The truth is, it is pretty socially acceptable not to love your body.

There are lots of things in our culture that encourage us not to love our physical forms.
