I have lost 150 pounds on a whole foods plant based diet. This has been the most incredible transformation experience of my life. As I have stumbled down the plant based rabbit hole I inevitably found 30 Bananas a day videos on youtube and have really enjoyed what I have heard. I am very interested in going from my vegan no processed food diet to trying the 80/10/10 ratio with whole foods. I am a nutrition student and have faced alot of resistance, the most resistance came from my ex girlfriend who is also a nutrition student (but she buys more into the mainstream way of looking at nutrition). We just broke up this week and I moved out of the place we shared, so now I am free to live exactly how I want to live without her regular naysaying, part of that for me is trying to live as healthy as I can even if it isn't scoially acceptable or convenient.

I have found that the biggest struggle when I implemented the WFPB diet was the practical day to day things that make it easy to stick with, I thiink being a member of the 30bad community will be helpful to me in my learning along with my own studying. To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar) your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
