Blood Test Results-NOT GOOD!!!

Yikes, I got my blood drawn today and am a bit unhappy with the results.  I was all raw for three weeks and have been high carb, low fat raw until 4 for the past five weeks.  So all in all I have been doing this for about two months.Typically, on a vegetarian, mostly vegan, high raw diet over the past several years I have had ideal lipids, triglycerides, and inflammatory markers.  I am relatively thin.I had my blood drawn and test results back today.  My cholesterol is still ok, LDL is in the…See More

I've been vegetarian for 16 years with bouts of veganism up to 9 months at a time and raw vegan for up to 4 months at a time. During these times, I felt very hungry and tired. I was thrilled to find out that maybe it was just as simple as not maintaining the proper balance of carbs and calories! I am looking forward to trying this out and hopefully being able to maintain this healthy, compassionate lifestyle!

I really appreciate the offer for assistance! I've wanted to be able to maintain a vegan lifestyle, but have found support lacking. Most of the vegans I have known have been more interested in ranting than helping to identify the keys to help make more people successful. I am interested in starting with a 30 day challenge through March and hopefully continuing from there. As I go along, I would be interested in knowing what is relatively normal and what may need tweaking. Some of my concerns are-losing too much weight as I am already quite thin, skin issues, history of thyroid imbalance, and having sustained energy. Thanks!

Meal Spacing

Is it necessary to space meals 4-5 hours apart on this lifestyle as I have read on other raw vegan sites to help avoid triggering cortisol production?  Or does this work itself out over time as the body adapts?

I will be starting this lifestyle in four days!  I have started a chronometer account, have a water filter, have a juicer, have a blender, and will visit the wholesale department of my local farmer's market on Saturday.  I plan to have the following each day:

32 oz water with lemon first thing

32oz-64oz fresh juice for breakfast

Large fruit mono-meal for lunch
