Haha, my parents and friends think im crazy too... so many jokes about having lots of bananas ugh lol
I have been vegan for about 2 years now, and high carb for almost a year now I think :)
Do you also have any roommates that you have to explain the lifestyle to?
Exactly! Better fruit availability would definitely be nice! Not to mention being around other fruit eaters too, apparently a lot of people think eating so much fruit is funny :/ haha!
Sadly yes :( I have lived in Green Bay my whole life. I just cannot wait to leave after college! haha How long have you lived in Sparta?
that is troublesome that youtube is not letting you comment, perhaps you are not signed into google or st? anywho, the first time i stopped using shampoo, i was eating lots of cheese and eggs i had to start using it again because it just stayed too greasy. when i totally stopped using shampoo (the last time I used it) I was eating very close to entirely vegan, and even that made a huge difference. Now being totally vegan, it's just very easy. Also, learning how to scrub your scalp most effectively is a big help. starting from the crown of your head, scrub hard with finger tips in circular motions, going outward, moving the uncleanness eventually to the tips of your hair and finally off completely. i also scrub back to front and front to back sometimes if i've just done a really sweaty workout
hey buddy :)
Hi Brandon, welcome to 30bad! That's cool that you've been raw for a month now! Any tips? ;o)
I was raw for a month awhile back and looking forward to getting back on board during a yoga teacher training in February, but you know, the more I can do now, the better too.
Just wanted to say hi and say yeah, new living location on what you want is awesome. I'm looking into that too. It would be awesome to live with fruit eating vegans!
Best wishes,
brina
Hi,
Welcome aboard! :)
You can check out the Banana Welcome Wagon at:
http://www.30bananasaday.com/profiles/blogs/30bad-banana-wagon-tour
To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar) your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
Enjoy!
