Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. I have always thought of myself as fairly fit and healthy, however have always struggled with my weight! I have always been at the higher end of a 'healthy bmi' but have always felt that I carry a lot of fat. I fluctuate between eating 'clean' and having massive chocolate/wheat binges. My Mum is a diabetes nurse and goes to lectures all of the time that talk about the dangers of carbs and sugars. She has been on a low carb lifestyle for years but every time I cut carbs I lose all of my energy, have to rely on caffein and usually only last a week or two before I binge on junk! I have always felt really confused about why I have such bad reactions to low carb diets when it is recommended by so many! I came across freelee's youtube chanel in january this year and instantly saw how much sense a high carb diet made! It sounds super healthy and appealing and I was desperate to try it! However, the conditioning of a low carb diet was so ingrained in me, I found it hard to decide to switch. However, my most recent low carb diet ended in a binge so bad that I made myself vomit it back up. I realized at this point that I needed to take action!! I was not going to let myself develop an eating disorder. I have been allowing myself unlimited fruit ever since and have also gone mostly vegetarian. I was a gymnast as a child and have always been mega strong but have always had awful cardio and stamina. Having upped my fruit intake has instantly given me more stamina and my cardio has finally started to improve thanks to my energy being through the roof! Having seen these changes by drastically upping my fruit intake as well as drastically lowering my meat intake, I now feel ready to take it to the next level. I really want to take on low fat veganism and want to follow the raw till 4 lifestyle! However, it feels very drastic and I am a bit nervous about doing it - especially when it comes to socialising and eating out! I am really going to need support and would LOVE to become a part of this community!!

I also suffer with eczema and a bit of acne so definitely want to heal both of these things!!

Hey friends :)

I have been vegan around 3 years now and it all started with rt4. I have had short periods of eating rt4 properly and have been high carb for the most part but sometimes eat quite a bit of fat as well, I haven't shyed away from vegan junk food and have had some periods of slight calorie restriction. Hey, I saw your comment about wanting a buddy and couldn't help but see you doing a straddle jump in your picture! I read your info and we seem to have lots in common! I was also a gymnast and do circus performing now, but I had a big problem with binge eating before this lifestyle. I am also trying to be completely raw as I know my diabetes (I am a type 1 diabetic) is much better when I eat raw, but am finding this very hard when there is cooked vegan food around me. So yeah, I'm up for encouraging and accountability if you are! :)
