TV report about an escaped cow, NYC

Saw this piece on TV- a cow escaped from a halal market in Queens. They showed footage of the cow and I thought that, maybe since it made the news and ran away they would send it to a sanctuary or something. Nope, last thing they said in the report- the cow is scheduled to be slaughtered on Friday. There is no real point to this post, just wondering if anyone else thinks it's messed up how nonchalant people talk about slaughter/murder.Here is the online version of the news…See More

So, this is going to be a place for me to journal every day about what I ate (taking a screenshot of my cronometer would probably be best), and how I exercised/slept/felt, or anything else I feel relevant. I will just write in the comments to avoid making a million posts. The main purpose of this is to help me correct the inevitable newbie mistakes I'm bound to make. When I experience a problem I can go back here and try to figure out why it happened. If I get really lost, I will ask someone…See More
