I've been an ethical vegan for over 4 years. Over time, I've learned of ALL the benefits of veganism: ethics, environment, health, poverty, world hunger. I've been eating tons of processed foods like mock meats & cheeses. Those foods have been my staples! After my boyfriend was diagnosed with cancer and decided to go fully vegan, I started caring about my health and eating all, or almost all, organic. It's been a year and I now care about myself more than ever! I started eating more whole foods, and really began TASTING them!! All of the sudden, a raw diet, and especially a fruitarian diet, sounded wonderful! I was eating two raw meals, and one processed for dinner. Now I've made my shopping list, found an organic wholesale co-op online, and cannot wait to dive right in! Thank you Freelee for the youtube videos that made me see how possible and easy it is! Going to start, as suggested, with bananas, dates, mangos, potatoes, and pasta sauce! I'm going to add 1 Tbs nutritional yeast, even though that isn't raw, as a B12 supplement. I'm so excited!!!

I love doing animal rights protests! I usually go to them every Saturday and Sunday, unless there aren't any planned those days. I've protested fur, vivisection, slaughterhouse, sea world, puppy mill/pet store, foie gras, rodeo, circus, and done vegan outreach.

I looove yoga (nithya yoga) and am starting to get into meditation. Life changers!

I JUST decided that I want to start! Just need to go stock up at the grocery store. Guide me with beginning, and I help me with ideas of what to eat when I cut out the potatoes and go fully raw! I know you eat small amounts of nuts/seeds and veggies sometimes. I'd love to know how often/what portions. I just want to know how to be as healthy as possible! I'm so grateful for this <3 !
