The first time I really thought about going vegan was when I was sitting on the couch surfing through weightloss/healthy eating on Netflix. I stumbled across a few documentaries.(food matters, vegucated, forks over Knives etc.)
Seeing the way the animals were treated, the money hungry meat industry, the lies, the chemicals, and the poor health, really got me interested in a vegan lifestyle! I always thought that eating chicken and cottage cheese was healthy. Learning about all this was eye opening.
I started getting really into YouTube videos. Watching fullyrawkristina, freelee, durianrider, 40belowfruity, easytoberaw, and my new favorite is Jason wrobel! I've read main street vegan and am working on 80/10/10.
I'm working on being 100% raw in the future. For right now im just focused on staying consistent with being 100% vegan....leaning towards raw till 4.
I hope to find the encouragement, support and helpful information from this group. Possibly find others in my area :)

I need to stay consistent on working out, and not falling off track of a vegan diet. Cutting out milk n cheese is the hardest for me right now. I need to focus on the healthy part of the calories and not worrying abut eating too much. I'm so used to yo yo dieting so I need to get on a different track that works!
