My name is Roman. I am 20 years old and i live in Germany. I can not remember, ever being healthy. I have very low energy all the time. 3 Years ago i started doing research about nutrition because of my terrible health situation and found out about detox and raw foods and all that type of stuff. So far i have always tried to find a quick fix for my health, for example fasting or doing some cleanses here and there. I managed to loose 60 pounds as a teenager, but i was still overweight and since i have lost this weight i am always up and down, either i have to kind of starve myself to loose weight or i just gain weight all the time, i am stuck in the typcial binge and purge cylcle. I am addicted to junk food, it is the only thing that makes me happy so far, my life consists pretty much just of eating and sleeping, the stimulants and the drug effect in cooked food is the only thing that seems to make me want to live the life i am living right now and i have been in this vicious cycle for probably 5 years now, from year to year my energy lowers, to a point where i have no energy or zest for life at all, except eating and watching youtube videos and reading blogs about raw food, finally getting things sorted out and finding the right way for me to do it. I have already tried eating raw foods and the longest i have managed was 20 days or so, eating just 1000 calories a day, thinking it was healthy. I first did not really like durianrider and his channel because he was kind of angry and was always rambling about everybody, but after a while i realized that he is extremely honest and that he is the real deal, from that point i have started watching all of his videos, can't wait until he releases a video, sometimes he really inspires me, of course i am also watching freelee's channel and i do not understand how a bunch of people use to dislike this videos, because they just say the truth. Anyway, i have lost myself here. I am feeling like crap all the time, can not do anything at all, totally confused about my life, and you name it...
The only thing i am sure about is, that i've started to become very passionate about this 80 10 10 thing and i will finally want to start living my life. I have registered on this forum, to get some support here and connect with some people from germany, want to find and meet some friends and maybe travel around with them and exploring the best countries to live this lifestyle, that is the only thing i know, i really want right now. :)

I need to know more about bananas and the best way how to live this lifestyle in germany, since the fruits are kind of expensive here and the quality is problably also not the best too, i am doing my best to adapt though.
Apart from that i think i would just have some general questions coming up here and there, once i am living this lifestyle.
And maybe some travelling tips. :)

Joa, nich bio, aber die Bio Fairtrade Bananen waren e-kel-haft - ein Pudding aus Wasser, Stärke und ein bisschen Zucker. Nich' so mein Ding. Woran haperts denn mit den Kalorien? Zuwenig Obst? Zuwenig Lust/Appetit? Lust auf anderes? Ich leb für gewöhnlich auf Gran Canaria, bin aber immer wieder mal meine Familie besuchen in Deutschland.
Hallo, Rawman, Roman, tehehehe Ich würd ma sagen, die besten Bananen in Deutschland sind wohl die 1x1 Dinger vom Lidl. Nich soooo der Knüller, aber zumindest kann man davon 10-15 zum Frühstück essen, und das is doch schonmal was. Und, machts Spass mit dem Obst?
To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar) your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
