Hi Rashida, I am thinking of possibly going to Jamaica, specifically Ocho Rios to stay for a few months...wondering if you would or would not recommend it. Are there storms and a lot of crime etc,? I have no idea how to find out. Also, could you tell me the estimates on the price of fruit? You can tell me in J$s if you want, I can convert it. Anything else I need to know? Thanks!

Ha, Eden I wish. Not how I would typically describe Phoenix Valley of the Sun! I am bringing a bit o' the green into my own yard though with my first ever own garden (maters, corn, herbs, cukes, and mucho lettuce). Can't wait!

Dont get me wrong :P I greatly appreciate the amount of info you provided :) Please do not hesitate to be as extensive with me as you wish. I tried to research the info you gave me without luck. I did however manage to communicate with a couple from MoBay who are opening up a Raw Cafe in October. They gave me their phone number to contact them for info. Im definately going to go check out their menu and try out some of the 811 friendly options :D I cant wait.

Hey Rashida, thanks for the extensive reply! Im not one to stay in resorts, but since its a wedding and to be part of the group... For the money Im paying, I really hope they can offer me the fresh local fruit.

Its unfortunate that all the people Im going with are SAD, and probably wont take the opportunity to taste the freshness... man theyre missing out on real life. Ill keep ya posted on my journey.

Thanks again for the info :D

Best B-Day wishes, Rashida!
Your island looks beautiful...what special spots would you recommend for a future trip minimizing cities/"tourism" and maximizing nature/local healthy culture?
Have you ever had the opportunity to meet Dr Aris Lathem there?

Soursop is freakin awesome! Hi Rashida! Im going to be in Montego Bay, Rose Hall to be exact, this January 15-22. Is soursop in season then?

Im going for a wedding, staying at an all inclusive called Iberostar Suites. Im hoping they have fruit buffets... Do you have any recommendations/suggestions on where I should get my fruits? Which ones are in season?

I sent you a message, which I hope you may have received. I hope your day is progreesing with positivity, dynamism and some magic. I would love hearing from you. Somehow, your blogspot does not seem to be linking. How's life in Jamaica?

Sorrel, acknee, stinking toe, sweetsop, guinep, tamarind, star apple...

All these are new words for me, Greek and Latin..so educate me what types of fruits these are. I have never heard or tasted them. I can teach Yoga if you can teach me about flavors of all these novel and exotic fruits, which can inspire me to visit Jamaica in future. Here, it's hard and/or costly to obtain organic fruits. The mainstream people do not consume these many fruits. I love cherries and berries of all types, blueberries topping the list.

Hey Rashida, I tried to browse through your blogspot, but somehow I could not activate the link provided in your profile. What am I doing wrong?

You are lucky living over there. I already envy of you now!!

Have a fruitful day in words and spirit, Rashida. You are a good person.

Love and Light..
