I'm trying to transition into raw food. I've tried 80-10-10 before and failed miserably but it's the diet that makes the most sense to me, so I'm joining this site for some support. I am a massage therapist and when I transitioned to mostly fruit I found it really hard to do my job properly, as it is quite a physical job and I felt very weak. I guess it made me more susceptible to take on my clients negative energies. I also read somewhere that fruit it very ascending (as opposed to grounding) and after a few days on 80-10-10 I felt like I was off with the fairies.

At the moment I'm just reading all the raw food books I can get my hands on. I am also listening to hours upon hours of raw audios in the car and on my daily walks. I love stuff by David Wolfe, Sergei Butenko, Matt Monarch.
I practise Bikram Yoga, go rollerblading occasionally and love snowboarding
I don't watch many movies anymore but I love a good comedy or drama. I do love my TV series though - Game of Thrones, Parks & Recreation, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Burn Notice, True Blood, Community, Girls

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar) your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
P.S. so many people hang onto the calorie-restriction mindset at all costs. If you eat low fat raw vegan (fat at or below 10% of your daily calories) you can eat a LOT more calories than if you are eating higher fat and you will have TONS of energy to do your job and more! You can do this! :)
